new stuff I have noticed in my LiveLog with the latest revision are

my tiers are up to date, so no idea about tier expired
also I keep getting not found on asain channels every 5 min or so, usually the same ones aswell, are they playing with stuff or shall I drop back to a solid older version of oscam

in need of Manchester cable if possible, and can you include password in the post, I have downloaded a few from elsewhere only to find them password locked :(
is there a way to extract/find password, from the image?

like a muppet while in Net Client Config, I pressed EPG Nass cfg download, this has changed the Net Config password to something else :( I have tried allsorts of flash combinations with diff images with no luck, nothing defaults this back to original 00000000, is there anyway I can master reset my box ? or does anybody know what it might have changed to ? thank you

no this is different, I am actually getting not found from my reader, never had this before, im back to my orig config that I have had for ages and this is still happening again today, on the same few channels

is it just me or has anybody else got issues with full picture freeze on B4U movies, Zee tv & *** sports 1, just tonight I have lots of ECM NOT Ok from my card reader, smargo.

I have had high ecm like every1 else but with no freezing, but just tonight I get this, is it my config, as I have been messing last few days, or is it everybody else too, get a freeze for about 3 or 4 seconds every 60 to 120 seconds, im hoping its my cache settings

it also says channel not found in the status window when this happens, and percentage goes up on NOK in the reader ecm section

update:::

dropped back to older version of oscam put my cache settings back to how they were before high ecm, all seems fine again. ecm still high but no freezing. unless they have stopped doing whatever they were doing. if anybody has similar or notices same thing, please let me know, thx

I reflashed using rs232 and correct latest image, and reflash using hyperterminal in wwindows

up and down like a yoyo, still watchable tho with the odd flicker :)

put them in the zapit folder but it made no difference with either restart neutrino or soft reset/hard reset. it was worth the try tho.

the folder doesn't exist /var/tuxbox/config is as far as it gets with this image, shall i create the folder?, or are the files somewhere else, i will have a look around

found autobouquets.csv file in /var/etc/
but no .tv files anywhere.

had a quick look in the autobouquets.csv file, it look like this :

no im afraid it didnt work with my image, Commando_15.0b_dm500, which has been upgraded to 15.0c. I used dreamset to send, afterwards my favourites were exactly the same even after hard reboot. the main problem then i had is i couldn't talk to my box either with ftp or telnet, but it was online working fine, just couldn't talk to it internally at all, only way to fix it each time was to dreamup with a fresh image and flash it.

should i try ftp the files across manually to the correct folders next ? will i have to change any attributes afterwards, or shall i call it a day, been at it 2 hours lol

im well impressed with this commando image it does everything except iptv, maybe they might add this feature in later updates, but im probably in the minority that still actually have a dm500 , lol

thx G I will have a play later today and let you know, I installed the commando image yesterday, wow I am so impressed, dm500 is now staying under the tv once again, online image update, epg updater & bouquet updater WOW, I might even treat myself to a 800 HD but I have got a blade combo instead now. THX AGAIN

What is the best image to use for iptv list updater on my dm500s, got some free time so I am going to pull it out of the cupboard, Manly just interested in epl football links. I am sure it has to be enigma 2 for iptv list updater. not sure dm500 can do enigma2, or is there an image that has any iptv list updater or equivalent, don't facing adding url all the time when dead links appear ect, thanks in advance .

What is the best scart to hdmi upscaler or hdmi to hdmi upscaler that REALLY does work or does at least make a better difference for now ? or is it not worth wasting time trying to upscale ? maybe a temp fix just to improve picture quality slightly.

My friend has just bought one of these, Q5 HD PVR, he paid close to 200 pounds, and he is offered a renewal next year for 100 pounds. It has a cable tuner in it, & a full VM sub with all channels including all the HD working. so I guess this info will be all over the internet soon on how to etc. maybe we need a cable forum on here? so people with interests can get busy with ideas :), ive been reading for a few hours and keep drawing dead ends, but from what I gather its using Cccam platform, and we need a RSA key & boxkey & ird, maybe im wrong?. I guess time will tell. I think the information is being kept quiet by traders, but im happy with SD on *** for now or tho it would be very nice to watch the football in HD when the premiership starts up again in a few months.

is there other boxes out there that people know of that have a cable share on, maybe reading about the platform of these boxes might give us some clue, maybe somebody has bought 1 and can look at the config? its a start. Yes I asked my friend & he said NO, buy your own LOL

no didn't work for me either, im thinking maybe this reader is faulty, so I have bought 2 omnikey and have set them up, they are working fine, one is my main card and other is my setanta, but when the machine reboots they sometimes swap with each other :( I have one set to device 0 & one to device 1... so this messes up my blocked services list I have setup for each card :( is there a way to set oscam to keep each id instead of swapping them around, I tried putting the address 002:002 & 002:003 but oscam didn't find the readers, after googling I find the answer = use udev and define rules. But this is beyond me as I cant find anymore info on how to do this, shall I start a new thread maybe some1 knows. thx
