    It works flawlessly now. just install the oscam app and run it, then go to a pc on the same network and type the ip address of the box with :8888 at the end and you should be asked for login credentials
    user and password are both root
    click on the files tab, then click on oscam.server and paste the following in (this for an N line)

    [reader]
    s-encrypt = 0
    device = put the ip address of your server here
    user = user
    password = Password
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    protocol = newcamd
    enable = 1
    label = server1
    group = 1
    fallback = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2

    That's it, just restart the app on the A3 and it should work

    Forgot to say the server address is in the following format

    192.168.1.100:12000 becomes 19.168.1.100,12000

    LOL cant type

    192.168.1.100,12000:54_002:

    And of course you are correct gazzac5, but sly are to introduce chipset pairing between their recievers and cards so what you are missing has been spoken about in this thread, read back a bit :)

    Have read it m8 - thats why I questioned the server location / footprint theory - totally irellevant !

    Am I missing something here. Why does the location of the server have anything to do with the footprint ? A UK Sly card can be shared anywhere in the World . Cards can be updated by clients who recieve the signal but the server location is irrelevent ......?
