I,ve got a motorised dish, have done for years and i also have virgin so no big deal, was just trying to see if others had same issue with sly sports 2 was all
reboot of box sorted it for me strange was only that channel but fine now
I tried a full reboot aswell earlier but still the same, i dont have a local card tho so dunno if thats summit to do with it.

Having same issue with ss2 although not completely gone...freeze every 5 or 10 secs, ecm times are also through the roof and i tried all caids and still the same, looks like they are playing funny buggers

Sorry for the late reply but i just noticed your reply....from memory i had no response from any member with any advice on this forum master g and to answer your query...no i would not say its bad cache...just my own problems with my configs setup which was the reason i asked for help in the first place;;;

Also mate oscam should tell you what caid your card is so dont waste your time trying allsorts of nagra 3 configs...confirm its 0100 buddy and let us all know...
The configs I've posted are running and tested, so it's not a matter of wasting time.

Oscam does all the work as server i would assume whether its HD or not,just the box itself wont transmit dvb-s2 to tv.
According to oscam meo is still ok but i dont know this package either so unsure...also if the provider is converting to nagra then i would have thought a new viewing card would be in order...not to mention the possibility of algorithms like boxkeys and rsa keys required either now or later after revision updates.

Think you are referring to Mr Murdoch having Nagravision 1 hacked which btw did not only open Uk cable but also many other providers in Europe and America for years.
Not many encryptions are hacked these days mate,its a dying game due to security being well tightened up and as for nds(cisco) any other anti-cs measures used in other countries using their security have so far not been reversed...
Worked with some pikeys in Dublin and Birmigham on a side note...mad hatters but good laugh.

Your mother will need a splitter if she only has broadband/ or use the feed connecting an existing vm box with low or no package.
One thing i would not do is connect your tivo via ethernet as it could flag up some issues with the box being in a property other than yours, i dont think ethernet works too well on the older tivo especially the scientific ones but best to be safe and leave it disconnected
Lost me now..why is it in the loft if vm sent it to you with 12 months free sub? in any case it has to have a card installed at the back and a subscription b4 you can get this to work in your vu box...and as said above you need rsa and bk from the tivo which i think you will struggle to achieve tbh.
If it does have a subscription it will also work at your mothers providing she is on the same netid platform as yourself, otherwise she would need to pay to have the tivo activated which may not happen and tbh worth it either as new turbo v6 boxes are in place now.
VM sent me a Tivo box, and 12mths free VMtv, can i put this card into the Vu+ Duo2? as i don't want the tivo stuck under the tv as well as the VU
If you have a look you might find there is actually no card present in the tivo box anyway making cs impossible.
Sounds like a tuner issue...have you tried reflashing the box
yebbs, been a subscriber of bt sports from beginning, already paid for next 6 months but seems like the entitlements for bt sports arent updating
Have you tried other bt sport channels....ie you might be trying to view the irish channel when you may have a british card..same with most sport channels as mentioned above.
Also look at your entitlements if this is still a problem..if any are out of date then this is your issue

thanks for reply. yes i have used the coupler you mentioned as above,two of them.but what i cant undrestand is why channels on this frequency only.all other channels on other frequency are ok.is this frequency on low power(11656v 22000)
Its nothing to do with low power although your kinda on the right track of thinking...for instance with rf signals in the past lower signals produced better signal quality//these days lnb/s can drop out certain transponders if guilty regardless of signal strength signals....
I assume you have a quad lnb so try the other ports.....or try a new lnb mate/alignment....they are fairly inexpensive on fleebaay
Guys a fix is not going to happen i dont think.
Look at what we have seen in recent years/months/sky italy for 1..... next could possibly and more than likely be sky germany to hault working and they also use videoguard2 aswell as nagra 3 albeit.
Not to mention Foxtel went off years ago in australia using videoguard/also other providers using nds viewing card security are also non cs available right now...
NDS is owned by Cisco now and use a different encryption these days which is much different to pre 2012 before Cisco took over/ 0963 is effectively videoguard2,however it is bizarre that caid 0960 is viewed as an upgrade in nds encryption but dont mean anything really as both cards can still currently be shared to a certain extent...
In 2013 HD channel removal status came into effect and there was nothing we could do due to hw pairing we are told...
Look at this tho..latest ss news channel to dissapear has no ecm ! although eurosport shows an active ecm...figure that one out...

could be what you say. i have extended the cable in doing so had to use two f plugs that is
made two joins in the cable that may be problem,cable is probably near 35- 40 metres in length.i might get another length of cable and take out all connectors and have just one single length,that may help.i am using motorised set up 1,1cm dish and moteck ii drives the dish
Joins should not be a problem as long as you used the f type barrell connectors which i think you have.
It definately looks like either dish alignment/line of sight issues or lnb.
Recheck all connections tho as you will have 8 in total.

now i know they use videoguard, but would they be using beecrypt as an onboard algorithm similar to virginmedia RSA key sets?
I.m not sure about BBCRYPT?
What i do know however is NDS/CiSCO use a much different encryption that virgin media use
Also i see many people post there is a box key with sly,,,,sly dont dont use box keys never mind an rsa key....Need to look at another solution..good luck !
