The recommended movie player for the E2iPlayer is exteplayer3. It is based on ffmpeg and does not use gstreamer at all.
To be able to use exteplayer3 you need to install ffmpeg libraries first.
You need to execute command metioned here

in your STB command line. The install script is interactive and it will ask you for confirmation.
To confirm you need to type "Y" and press "Enter".

There are services with same content already available in the E2iPlayer.
So, I am not sure why you need another one?
The video is decoded and displayed by hardware, so what E2iPlayer have to do with video sharpness?
E2iPlayer does not change any video sharpness settings .

The captcha security is set higher than lowest.
So, E2iPlayer will not be able to handle it directly but using My JDownloader solution it can be redirected to external device.
In last update My JDownloader solution was added to 9anime host.
So, you can test it after update.
This is Google ReCaptcha v2.
The question is how they configure it. If they configure it with lowest security level then E2iPlayer will be able to display captcha task on your TV
otherwise E2iPlayer will not be able to handle it and the only option will be to redirect this task to external device.

Why you think that "download" option stopped work?
It is still working but a little bit different.
You not need to switch between "Recorder" and "Player" mode anymore.
When you press green button on the playable item it will be added to download queue.
Green button become active (white label color) only when you select playable item otherwise it is not active (gray label color)
If you do not see text "Download" on the left of the green icon then this mean that you use custom skin with IPTVPlayer section and skin creator must update it or you should remove IPTVPlayer skins from skin.xml to use default E2iPlayer skins.
Please not that with such custom skins not provided by me you can have problems like GS and so on.So, you should reconsidered of skin wich overwrites default E2iPlayer skin is good choose for you.

As probably some of you know links on https://mrpiracy.site/ were protected with Google ReCaptcha v2 settings which do not allow to solve it with browser less enviroment (called fallback mode) , so IPTVPlayer is not able to show this captcha task to the user on TV screen.
Some time ago I added support for two services http://www.9kw.eu/ and https://2captcha.com/ which allow to get captcha task resolution from outsite.
It requires credits taken for each captcha resolution. You can buy these credits or ern in the partner program (you must solve several captchas of others users, but the ratio is not so good).
Starting from IPTVPlayer v2018.08.28.02 there was added support of the My JDownloader solution to redirect captcha to your other external device.
Originally it was created and prepared for the JDownloader program.
With this solution Google ReCaptcha v2 can be redirected to your other your device for example mobile phone or PC browser to be solve there by you at realtime.
It is completely free.
