yeah that's exactly how its been converted, sorry to be a pain but what from my mgcamd should be there and is that the only thing that's not right?
is there a way I can manually do it?
In the webinterface click the Files tab > then oscam.server > edit it manually > click save > restart oscam.

All you need to do is add the converted mgcamd lines into oscam.server. Leave the other configs alone, they are already configured.
Its not a link, but an example of how you would add the link into a browser to access the oscam webinterface.
ip.of.gigablue should be obvious. :8888 is the oscam webinterface port.
Say the ip address for the gigablue is 192.168.1.87, add this into your browser http://192.168.1.87:8888

right have set up box, abm and scanned sat and cable, install oscam.and transferred files across to box from pc. Only the fta channels are working?

just in the middle of setting up, not keen on openatv compared with vix, but than again its the only one ave used lol.
just wondering about the files that are with mgcamd.list file for the quad plus, do they not get transferred across?
ive converted the mgcamd files but need to scan etc, just remember being sent a file to put with that as i had a lot of channels non-responsive for sat.

I've only ever used openvix and I know there isn't an image for the 4k box.
I'll just stick with the openATV as you said it is similar to vix.
Had a quick look at the mgcamd to oscam and it's Class, converted all my lines.
Will let you know how I get one. :-)

You also have OpenSPA and oscam is installed from the downloads of the image itself.

Do I just install the oscam file you've attached via usb after flashing box with openvix
The attached oscam is for openatv, it won`t work with openvix.
You can copy the ipk to a usb stick and insert it into the receiver, then follow on screen prompts.
Sorry meant openatv, thanks regarding the skins and the hotkey plug in. Just waiting for the dvb card to arrive then al crack on with. Thanks again!!

hi all,
first post on this site and a bit of a novice.
i have upgraded my gigablue quad plus to the new gigablue quad 4k (got a new 4k t.v)
i havent made a start setting it up as am waiting for dvb tuner card to arrive.
i have a mototised dish and cable setup.
i am using mgcamd at the moment and found a thread on here saying i can covert that to oscam? been told by the person i get my mgcamd off that they dont do OScam so would like a little bit definite info regarding this if possible?
also been told they wont be a openvix image for this box and to use openATV, is it a similar set up to openvix?
