I am trying to flash my Dm800 Original with a new image via network. It currently has Blackhole V12. I power off the box and and power in back on with the power button held in to get the ip address to enter into my browser. When I enter the ip address into my browser I get into the Dm800 web interface and it allows me to select an image to flash. I select the openatv image which is nfi format as required and it brings the file onto the web interface ready for flashing.
When I then hit the flash button nothing happens. I have tried various browsers....internet explorer, chrome and firefox but it gets to the same stage each time and wont flash when I hot the flash button. Has anyone any ideas what could be wrong?

Yes it has a little reset button on the rear. I bought it when they were first launched I guess over 4 years ago, maybe they were changed after that. The guide that master G sent me a few posts earlier even refers to the reset button. Anyways....... I flashed it as you said and powered off at the mains instead of using the reset button and guess what.....it worked.
I have flashed this box about 20 times since last night trying different usb pens etc....lol. Anyways thanks for the help everybody! So relieved.

I tried Blackhole 1.7.9 to check but still the same result. The box doesn't boot after flashing. I am going to see if I can get a different usb sick to see if that helps.

No its definately not a clone. I purchased it quite a few years ago when they had just come on the market. It was about £300 back then.

I am trying to flash my Vu+ Solo via USB stick. I have put the image files in the root directory of usb stick in folder vuplus/solo. I then power off the box and insert the usb stick and the power on the box. The light at the front of the box goes red for about 4 or 5 minutes and then turns flashing green. At this stage I remove the usb stick and press the reset button at the rear of the box. The light then goes a solid green but I dont have any display whatsoever on my tv. I have tried various images Blackhole 2.15, 2.16 & 2.17 and also openvix. I have also tried using 2 different usb sticks. They are formatted to Fat32. I don't know if I am doing something wrong. Hopefully someone can put me put of my misery.

Just the same result. I guess I will have to think of installing a new image maybe. Any suggestions? I have also just got a lend of a Vu+ Solo from a family member that needs re flashed so maybe I could try Oscam on that and maybe swap them if it worked well. What would be the best image to use on the Vu+ Solo?

Sorry for not replying sooner but had more problems...my router packed in and I had some problems getting everything up and running again. Anyway heres what i get when i type oscam into telenet:

I have now got Oscamsvn10937 in the blue panel and I can activate Oscam but I have tried accessing the web interface via http://192.168.1.2:8888 but I just get the message web page not available. I have the Sky UK Oscam config files transferred to etc/tuxbox/config. I am obviously not doing something right but I am totally confused at this stage :-(

If I go into the uninstall panel to uninstall the original oscam that I installed, it is not there to uninstall but when I go in to activate a cam it is still listed there.

ok heres where I am at now. I got the original version of Oscam deleted and it doesn't show up in the Cam activator.
I then ftp the other version of Oscam to usr/bin and set attributes to 755 and restarted enigma 2. I then ftp the Sky UK oscam config files to
etc/tuxbox/config. When I now go in to activate the Oscam it is not in the list. I only have common interface and CCcam. Hope this helps.

I went to usr/bin and deleted the old oscam file. I then downloaded the new oscam file and ftp it to usr bin and set attributes to 755.
I restarted enigma 2 but when i go in to activate the new oscam it is not in the list. It is still showing the old version, common interface and my CCcam 2.3.0.

i am not sure how i assign a static ip address for my dm800 in my router. When I switch back to CCcam I can access the web interface in my browser and also as an addon on my dm800. I have selected the Ocam emu and activated it in the nabilo blue panel but I still can't access the web interface by using http://192.168.1.x:8888. If I leave out the 8888 it still brings up the Dreambox web control for changing channels etc. I am totally lost now!

yes. when i go to a free to air channel it saying Oscam-emu along the bottom of the screen.

Am i putting the config files in the right place...... etc......tuxbox....config?
Do I need to change any of the setting in the Oscam config file?

No I can't log into the web interface. Do I need to make any changes on my router for Oscam?

ok that worked. I have now got Oscam installed and it is clearing free channels but not premium channels. I have installed the config fils to var etc tuxbox config folder.

ok thanks. What version or name of Oscam will I be installing? I downloads Oscam svn 10933 folder with loads of oscam files but I not sure which one to use or if I have the right download.

I have downloaded the Oscam config. Do I transfer it to my Dm800 via Dreambox control centre? What happens to my CCcam config? Will I still be using CCcam as well? Sorry if I'm asking silly questions but I am a bit confused.

i have a Dreambox 800 original with image Nabilosat Black Hole V 0.12 I have a white 0963 card in the dreambox and I am using CCcam 2.3.0.
I have had the same basic setup now for about the last 7 years hence I am a bit out of touch with things.

Over the last year I am getting some freezing whilst watching premium channels on my Dm800 which has the 0963 card in it. Occasionally
it freezes completely and i have to restart CCcam. I have about 6 clients who are also experiencing the same freezing issues.

I am wondering what my best options are to try and resolve the freezing. Do I need to move away from CCcam to Oscam?
Is there something that I could do to my existing setup to stop the freezing instead of moving from CCcam?

Any help would be much appreciated.
