i need to connect a twin lnb + a single and get 3 different cables out to go this way: 2 to go to a twin tuner sat receiver, + 1 to go to a tv with built in sat tuner .so that's 3 in 3 out. any ideas please on how to achieve this .

i'm looking for advice on how to get to watch mkv files with subtitles in .idx or .sub format . any recommendations please, so far the mkv files are watchable but without subtitles ?

i would love to increase the size of the pluging screen ,the set up screen is too small the menu items are too tiny to read.
is there a way to make the whole plugin pages full screen ?
i'm using openvix + vixbmc confluence 1080.

my enigma box is connected to the router via a lan cable, when i switch off the receiver it re-starts without internet connection and i have to restart the network or the receiver few times before the internet connection is re-established .
any advice on how to fix this problem .

a quick update to this issue, a flash had fixed this problem.

i cant set ftp to autostart, when i press the autostart button (i think the yellow button) nothing happens the autostart option is set on disabled and i cant change it to enabled. i can start ftp, but after restarting the box it switches off.
how can i fix this issue ,please help.
receiver is xtrend et8000 running on openvix image.

thanx for clarifyng that, i thought double tuner means multi-recording and being able to watch a third channel at the same time.the thing that confused me is that while most channels disappeared i was able to record from more than 3 channels and watch a 4th from the few available channels . bbc1 + 2 + 3 were still working and recording . but bbc4 wasnt working.

i have an twin tuner xtrend using open vix & cccam 2.3, 1 lnb but each tuner has it's own cable. if i try to record from more than 2 channels simultaneously ,then most channels become inaccessible, i can only record from 1 channel and watch a different channel, i have checked signal strength from both tuners to eliminate that one might be faulty and they both have identical results.
they are both set up as follow : simple / single /same frequency /no.
i have tried to do a manual scan for each one sseparately but that didnt resolve the problem.
any ideas please on how to fix this issue !

i think i'll go for the ftp option to create a new directory, then use the remote to move the recorded programs to the desired location. thank you everyone for your quick replies

i wonder if is it possible to organise/list the recorded programs ,by program, the way it is now using vix + bluehd skin, all recorded programs are in one long list (in folder /media/hdd/movie), how can i have all episodes from lets say program A in 1 folder ,folder A, and so on !

i'll try to format using one of the extensions you mentioned, i was thinking it is much quicker to transfer files from pc usb3 to usb stick than ftp to the receiver but i'll test that again .

i have a 16gb usb stick and i've tried to watch some videos from it on the receiver but i couldnt figure out how to set it up .
when i initialise the usb by the receiver ,then the pc doesnt recognise it ,for this reason i had to format it (default ntfs) to allows for over 4gb file transfer . but this doesnt work with the receiver and the receiver doesnt see it .i think fat or exfat format worked ,but then i cant put anything bigger than 4gb in the usb !
is there a way to make this work ,watch over 4gb videos from the usb in the receiver ?

this morning for some unkown reason i couldnt connect to the receiver to ftp some files,tried firefoxftp ,filexilla,putty,even re-flashing it .
the receveiver is connected to the wifi and downloading plugins .
i have the correct ip and login details.
it was working fine till yesterday and i didnt do anything to change the settings .
using open vix /xtrend et8000 .
could it be a hardware issue !!

Thanks Fano for your help, the box you recommended has all the tuners i need , i did have a look at vu solo2 and GigaBlue HD 800 UE ,as they are all in the same price range 200-€250 and have similar specs, i think the xtrend will be the one to buy .

i had a look at the xtrend and i liked it , but dint quiet understand the technical part of the input '2x DVBC/T/T2' does this mean 2 inputs ; 1 for sat + 1 for aeriel ! how many channels do you think i can record simultaneously witht the xtrend ,there is no mention of this info in the description .

i want to get me a linux sat receiver and i need advice chosing the one that fits my needs . i dont want to spend over €200 +/- for the box , looking for a receiver with a tuner for terrestrial channels (irish soarview) and allows me to record from more than 1 channel ,also can fit internal drive and ideally has 1.3 cpu .
your advice will be very appreciated .
