Hello all, So i have an amiko alien 3 belonged to a friend, its stuck on boot. I followed the instructions to get it into recovery with an sd card but it doesn't go into recovery.
Can anybody offer me any advice please?

Thanks alot for your help, i nstalled the one above, added the skin i wanted. Everything is working perfect now.
Can i ask you for some tips maybe on what other type of plugins etc i could add to give more features if any, like if i press the hme button it says "media portal" not installed.

It's strange because when I do reset by switching it off then on its fine. When I put on a channel it's fine then after a second or two it goes again. The channel picture is perfect but none of the Ui works. If I press menu or epeg I can't read it see it.

Changing cable made no difference

I installed the image from scratch. Everything was fine. Did the cam and all fine. I installed autobeuqets from the extensions in plugins and now it's gone again. I'm lost

grand i see that sorry, im on that one now. So any advice on were to start reading about adding the channel Bouquet and skins etc?

ok now i have another problem, when restarted the box i went to a channel and it worked fine, then when i pressed menu it went all crazy, the info on screen is all mad looking, like all glitched and stretched. artifact like. i can just about make out the info panel text but its all stretched and distorted. Will i need to flash agin new image? i cant see what im doing so a reset isnt possible

ok i got it i think, i went into softcam panel, highlighted cam 1 and pressed right, selected the oscam i downloaded and started it

yeh im on the site now, all seems fine. I am doing a channel scan now. Can i get channel lists and skins etc from this site as well?

right did it all now except for the part " Go to menu > info or blue button > softcam for softcam manager to activate oscam ". When i go into "menu", then" info panel" i only have " softcam panel" , "softcam-panel setup"? is it either of these i go in to activate the oscam?

in softcam panel it says " select cam1" and " no cam"

Ok mate just so im clear, i now have the two files you gave me, 1. oscom.conf, 2. oscom and then i have the file i converted which is oscom.server. I need to put all three of these across? thanks

sorry that you have to take me step by step in this, im at " Use the attached configs, they go into /usr/keys folder. ". How do i get the downloaded file into the folder i need?

also when converting the cccam do i save as oscam server or user?

hi there i am as far as the oscam install. Which oscam do i install? there is oscam-tv-ymod, ascam-cable, oscam-emu, oscam-emu-modern,oscam-monthly?

Hello all,

Hi guys ill try keep it as simple as i can. I bought an amiko shd 8900. I have a working openbox with a cccam that i am very familiar with. I brought the amiko to a sat guy today because was having remote control issues. He flashed new firmware onto it, Enigma2 i believe. I need help with how to add this a C line please. Im a total noob to the amiko box so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated,
