Thanks! I'll reproduce the issue on the decoder, save the debug file, and then ask for help on the forum. Unfortunately, I don't speak or understand German.

I’m posting this in the hope that someone can find a solution (I’d hoped that updating to version 8 would resolve the issue, but it didn’t). Since updating to version 7, my EDISION OS Mio 4K Plus has had two major issues which didn't occur when I was using version 6. The problem is twofold, but I think it stems from the same source (Python?). Firstly, the decoder does not come out of deep standby mode (it freezes halfway through booting up), and secondly, when it comes out of normal standby mode, it appears to work, but it does not receive any channels. In both cases, I have to disconnect the power by pulling the plug out of the socket for a few seconds to restart the decoder properly. Please help! Thank you.

And when you mention updates are these actually updates and not clean installations without restoring settings.

because you cannot carry over settings backups from 6 to 7
    you should enable debug logs.

I enabled logs to check before to ask here, but I'm not able to debug by myself. Where can I post it?

I wrote ‘from version 6 to 7’ and ‘from version 7 to 8’ to make it clear that the decoder stopped working properly from version 7 onwards, but all my installations were clean installations. I’m no expert in firmware for Linux-based decoders or in log analysis, but I know full well that when changing versions or encountering bugs, it’s always best to start from scratch.
