    Cheers for the input lads,

    got rid of epgimport, and done what ye said,


    however i don't think epg refresh would be of any benefit to me, as when the box is not in use, it wouldn't be plugged in


    all working again, full epg again

    ok, i have installed the newest atv for the box, and have the opentv epg option set now.


    but when i select rytec sources for uk/ireland, i still get 0 events unless i connect it to the internet.


    is there a different or particular source in epgimport to select to import epg?

    ok i see you have the option to enable opentv epg,

    i dont have that, so maybe i will try and reinstall epgimport


    edit: a reinstall of epgimprt i still dont have the option to select opentv epg, its not there.


    am i missing something?

    yes but this only imports the epg on the channel that you elect (plus a few others) and is only now/next


    i want to get epg for all channels and not just now/next.


    epgimport pulls 0 data unless it is connected to the internet

    i have a zgemmah2s and h9s which i plan on using freesat channels onto.


    this will be used in campervan so it will not have an internet connection.


    epg-import seems to only import data when it has an internet connection, which is no good.

    crossepg brings the data in fine with no internet connection, but as the box could be off for long periods at a time or more, the epg data could be outdated and doesnt show up unless i manually run crossepg.


    is there an epg out there that will auto update on boot, so if in 2 months i plug in the box, it automatically scans the epg?

    have you found an update for this at all yet? atv 6.4 seems to do the same aswell, unless i am missing something

    hi, apologies if asked somewhere else, i couldnt find it if it was....


    i am running vix, and when i go into epg search, is there any way to use the numbers on the remote as the keypad, (F=3 3times, z=9 4 times etc)
    this is the menu i am on about, currently if i press a number capital letter F is all that shows. i have to use the left/right/up/down to select each letter.
