xbmcflix, can this be done for vdr/ or wetek theatre, prefrebally theatre, thanks.
scooterbuk, do like this:
Connect by PuTTY over SSH to WeTek Play and execute this command:
mkdir /storage/picons
Then connect by FileZilla by SFTP over port 22 to WeTek Play, and then you will see folder picons. Enter in that folder and transfer there your picons.
Now open TVHeadend web interface, and in Configuration tab in field Picon path put:
file:///storage/picons
Save configuration and reboot device, thats all

worked for me reboot after pasting config file.

this is a good channel editor for vdr, just load your config file edit and save.
-
try here with winscp or windows network openelec, /storage/.kodi/addons/service.multimedia.vdr-addon/config/
hope it helps.

As e2 boxes, i was thinking more of Kodi and apps that run within the box , kodi runs great on m8 with 2gb ram.
Lots of low end E2 boxes have less than 1gb of ram and run perfectly fine 2gb is over kill

anyways thats another issue, can someone get me sorted on E22TVH please.

glad you sorted it.

try this paul as last resort worked for me:, * Power off your device and unplug the AC power cord.
* Download the recovery zip (below you will find the up to date version).
* Unzip the downloaded zip (you can delete the META-INF folder).
* Copy the downloaded zip and the freshly unzipped recovery.img to a MicroSD card.
* Now insert the MicroSD card in your STB.
* Plug the AC power cord while you keep pressed the little reset pinhole (located on the bottom of the device) for 10 seconds (just count slowly to ten and it will be good).
* The device should have booted to CWM recovery.- - - Updated - - -

I have used a lot of sat boxes and i am happy with the way the WETEK performs it has got loads of potential over e2 boxes for price comparison, must admit could do with 2gb ram and some teething problems that need ironing out, but support is first class from team WETEK, I find WETEK android running theater to be best at the moment with zapping as fast as any e2 box, and quality picture with hd better imho, just needs more support for EPG, my opinion is it is a great box fully customizable to 4 platforms, its early days yet but my thumbs up for this box :50_002::50_002::50_002::40_002:
