If you already configured TVheadend, you can use N line because tvheadend is already newcamd, i use n line.
Using things like win32 disk imager means that you are copying the entire disk image i.e. cloning the entire sd card including all the unused space, so if you have an 8gb sd card the final size of the copied disk image will be around 8gb regardless of what you have installed on it.
I installed OE6 on 8GB micro Sd and used win32 disk imager to create back up and the size of the back is now 7.6GB, hence i cant copy it to any SD card that is 8GB or lower in size.
Im still trying to figure out how to do the backup without this probllem.
My cousin arrived home two days ago for Christmas and brought along his wetek play box, I copied my openelec micro SD settings/configurations to another SD card for his use.
Current Home set up:
Sky UK satellite dish with quad LNB
Two wetek boxes
Two Micro SD card with OE6 installed
I am experiencing the following issues:
Using win32 disk imager to create a backup my 8GB micro SD openelec settings but the backup file size grew from under 300mb to about 7.6GB
My cousin’s box do not have EPG
When I change channel on one box, it will randomly change channel on the second box. E.G. if I am watching ITV on my box and my cousin is watching Channel 5 on his, when I change channel on my box, it will automatically change channel on his box from channel 5 to a different channel, also if im scrolling through the channel list, my actions will be showing on his TV screen
Both Boxes freeze quite often, no network activity, no response to the remote control, whatever that was on the last screen simply froze there, I have to pull the power cable to restart it
On Tvheadend web interface > status> stream: only one input is available instead of two. On tvheadend web interface>configuration> TV adapters: I can see two adapters available.
On tvheadend web interface> configuration> channels/EPG>Bouquets: my box have 722 channels available but his box have only 172 channels
sometimes when I switch to a channel, e.g. ITV evening news, programme from another random channel will be showing.
Any idea how to resolve these issues please, help will be appreciated.

i i Bought my wetek box in october, the standard android wetek software with the wetek theatre is awful. i loaded openelec 6 on micro Sd, which im currently using and its a lot better than the android side.
I will load PBnigma today and try that out
All sorted now, i reformatted the SD loaded OE6 and started from scratch.
Its now ok and working very well, as you said, i must be a corrupt file.
Got a new wetek play box, loaded openelec 6.0 on the mSD, installed and configured Tvheadend from openelec repo and wetek unofficial openelec repo, enabled "TV" on the settings
However, TV doesn't show on the main menu in confluence skin, but if I change to Aeon Nox skin, with live TV already on the menu, and click live tv I get this message. NO PVR CLIENT HAVE BEEN STARTED See attached picture.
Any help in resolving this issue please, i have asked on wetek forum but no solution yet.

After receiving the new tuner i tried the scan again to no avail, i tried all options, reset, factory reset, clean install image in Wetek Android, clean install of Openelec, various other things and nada, it still did not pull the channels in ie Sky channel etc as stated in previous posts, in the end i contacted support again who a arranged remote support through Teamviewer to see if they could see what the issue could be, we set a day and time and went through the motions using the Openelc side of the box with tv headend, through lots of tinkering, scanning, tinkering again and more scanning the box could not pull the correct transponders in, the conclusion that support came too was what i thought myself that the box was faulty, support arranged an exchange for a new box. (Thanks to Eldin / support for taking time out to sort this out).
The courier was arranged for the next day to pick up the faulty box for the exchange but for some reason they did not turn up after i stayed in all day, i contacted the courier to see what was going on and they stated that they have no such order to my address ? they stated to contact the supplier Wetek to re-do the order, yes you guessed it my patients was running out of fuel ...... i took a deep, deep breath and contacted support again who apologised and sent out another request and this time they turned up the next day, within a 24hour period Wetek received the box and another box sent out to me, the next day i received the box and i thought yes i can start to play.
I plugged the box in and set the box up, i went straight to Wetek Theatre and all was looking good, i decided to update to the latest software before scanning and when complete i went to Wetek theatre and it would not load, i tried several times to no avail but i remembered that a factory reset should sort this issue out and it did.
I went to Wetek Theatre and it booted up with out any issues and now for the scan, i set up the configurations and scanned the box which went through the motions until it was complete, i looked through the channels and the missing channels were there and they worked ....... VOILA........ i loaded my enigma 2 channels list using Dreamset and it was is looking good just how i set my bouquets out and they worked, i have not checked all the channels but the premium ones are there and working.
Ive had this box a while, well i mean this is my second exchange, the first issue was TRSS lead not working and then the tuner issue's, but let me say from the day i got this box i saw the potential but also lost the will at times, i am glad that all is working so far and i will in no doubt keep you updated but i am so pleased that this box is functioning as it should.

I've got the same issue as you have, but I don't think it's the tuner because I have openelec on MicroSD the channels are fine buy openelec 6.0 is unstable.
I will really appreciate if you can help me with a step-by-step guide on scanning Astra 28.2e and using the bouquet you mention on wetek theatre.
I'M new to this so don't understand the jargon and terms.

I have wetek play with openelec 6.0 on Micro SD, with 1TB seagate HD connected via USB for recording.
Before i upgraded from openelec 5.95.5 to 6.0 i was able to record however since upgrading to 6.0 i have the following problems:
Whenever i try to record, i get the following messages:
1) "PVR backend error. Check the log for more information about this message"
"Can't start recording. check the log for more information about this message".
2) Occasionally If i try to change channels i get this message:
"Tvheadend HTSP client no free adapter"
3) The box freezes very often and whenever i press a button on the remote for an action like bringing up channel guide or channel list. it takes about a minute for this to happen.
Problem number 2 normally gets temporary solution if i reboot the box but it start happening again after about two days.
i will really appreciate any help to resolve this issue before i end up sending this nice box back to wetek

Also i get good pictures on HD channels but the audio is a hissing sound any solutions please
This is my first attempt in setting up and using Linus/android TV box so haven’t got much knowledge on these.
Received my wetek play at the weekend and have succeeded in getting it up and running with openelec 5.95.5 installed on Micro SD.

PROBLEM:
When I go to TV> channels I only get screen like this picture attached 4d0049bb97af063a70bece0.jpg. I can’t see the bouquet that I created on tvheadend.

PROBLEM:
When I go to TV > channels I don’t see the picons
I discovered that the HD channels e.g ITV and BBC do not have audio how do I get these channels to have audio ?
Finally I have 1 TB external HDD that I want to connect via USB to the box for recording programmes, how I format it and set it up with the box.
Any help and support will be very much appreciated.
