If your provider line starts with https:// then older epg importers will not download it.
This has been fixed in most builds now though.
A lot of the newer python 3 builds have also removed my original hacks and replaced the code with twisted reactor code as well.
So first I would try removing epg importer plugin and then redownload it from your feeds.

but if anyone ever follows my openatv setup guides. At least I put this in my instructions
always show the logo, but is not good for a user with Oled TV, my LG e.g. shows the mute logo also only a few seconds
OK fair comment, but no tv I have ever owned, hides the mute icon.
And is it really ever going to be on that long its going to burn the screen pixels. Probably not.

Not updated for a while, but every previous install I have done of openatv, hide mute icon is turned on by default. Which is the wrong default.
I think openatv and service app have the correct settings as default.
Its just people then start messing with the settings :)
I think its just common sense. if you have sound issues. Experiment with the sound settings
If you have serviceapp issues. Experiment with the service app issues.
Some iptv channels dont always encode the sound stream correctly. Nothing you can do about that.

Ok as curioustv keeps requesting an Acestream player I thought I would bring this old plugin from PCD back to life.
** Note this plugin streams from your PC to your satellite box. Its not a standalone player **
I have stripped down the code and made it work on python 3.
I haven't done much with the skin. Its very basic.
But there isn't actually much wrong with this code from 7 years ago. 
To clarify the instructions
Download Acestream player (you don't need to remove VLC player)

In acestream player
Tools -> Preferences -> All -> Interfaces -> Main Interfaces -> Select Web -> Exit
Amend acestreamplayer's host file
Find the path of acestream player by right clicking on the Ace player icon. Mine is (for example) -
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\ACEStream\player\ace_player.exe
in explorer go to your acestream player folder.
C:\Users\[user]c\AppData\Roaming\ACEStream\player\
then
C:\Users\[user]c\AppData\Roaming\ACEStream\player\lua\http
edit .hosts
adding your sat boxes ip address
i.e.192.168.1.99
Reboot computer (important)

Install plugin AcestreamPlayer (attached).
Start plugin. Config - Insert PC ip address.
PC IP address can be found via a command prompt
ipconfig
Change the location of your acestream url list.
Default location /media/hdd.
Add your list
Save config and Restart enigma. (important)
Open acestream player on your PC.
Open plugin on your box.
Click OK userlist to load your list. Click a channel to play
Example acestreams list found on the internet is attached. (not all will play - i tested a few)
I can't offer any support for this and I have no plans to do any further work on it.
I just thought I would get it working. Although there is very little error catching going on. So it may crash.

it is recommended you don't keep your settings.
You can do a flash online via your box or via a usb flash
Just backup anything external that you might need.

Follow my 7.* guide and set it up from fresh. No old junk that way.
the openatv 6.4 guide was wrote 4 years ago. Things change.
It is highly recommend you update to an openatv 7.2 or openatv 7.3 nowadays
Everything is being updated to python 3. Which is incompatible with openatv 6.4 as that is python 2.7
If you follow my setup guides. Its all done step by step for you.

Preview mode is in your settings. Press menu on which ever epg guide you are in and you will find it.

Most people use autobouquetmaker plugin with epg importer plugin to get the correct order, numbers and epg.
