I am just plodding along with it in the background. Its weeks away yet.
lots of code to rewrite. Nothing much is going to change how it operates though. Its mainly backend code improvements.

rytec xmltv sources are built into epg importer plugin.
Install epg importer plugin and sources come with it.

I pretty much gave up a long time ago on openvix mods. Its been 2 years since any update on epg or movie planner mod for vix. (5 months ago for openatv)
It is no longer possible to maintain these mods, too many changes are going on in all the images now, its just a free for all now with some of their teams coders, the different python versions, the different elements, the different variable naming etc.
Openatv and openvix used to be very very similar images at the core. I don't think they are anymore. But to be honest I do even look anymore. I gave up trying.
I will stick with my openatv 6.5 until all the dust settles.

I am currently rewriting this plugin. It was written nearly 4 years ago as my first plugin and lots has changed since then including my knowledge and skills.
So its getting a lick of paint similar to my xstreamity skin (not 100% decided on the final design yet), and also all the code is going to be more similar to xstreamity as we have been perfecting that over the last year and half. Quite frankly a lot of this original code is ugly and hard to follow.

Jedimakerxtream doesn't effect channel zapping. It uses enigma2 zapping. (unless the play path is garbled)
It could therefore be a skin issue.
Most wget script files will build the bouquets for you.
My plugin will not pick them up for management or deletion.
Anything created via a wget script would have to be self managed via channel select screen.
If your provider is an xtream/xui one playlist, then my plugin shouldn't crash.
What are your crash logs saying.
Check crash logos for domains/usernames/passwords if posting crashlogs.
for missing pvr state images.
first check the settings, that they are shown.
for example openatv ...
menu > usage & user interface > settings > show pvr status in movie player infobar
and sandman_1983 - you did make changes - you compressed your images. This chaps box might not like the compressed png.
Not all box images play the same when it comes to pngs
The epg bars are graphics.
You can either press menu button on either of those epgs and select text mode.
or change the graphics that live in the folder .... drumroll.... epg :)
currentevent, current service, otherevent, otherservice etc.
again you also have your border graphics in the epg folder
...add write out any arabic words.
as we are recreating a lot of these from scratch.

I haven't seen that option for quite some time.
Forgot it even existed.
And yes you are correct it isn't saved.
It is quite an easy fix, when I find the time to do it.

But the simple answer for now is to turn off automatic updates in jedi if you want to keep your custom order.
But this means you miss out on any channel changes or additions
And for those people hoping for a fix to remembering custom channel select ordering.
I am struggling... Its a long time ago I wrote all this code. The code is not that easy to follow.
I keep loading it up... going erm.. then closing it down :)

To be honest, I have no idea what you are referring to.
There is no ordering in Jedi.

It works in X-Streamity but in Jedi Maker Xtream it is emty
the 2 plugins do not function in the same way. Jedi has to get all the information in one call.
It therefore uses the get.php file to parse series data.
Jedi is looking for lines in that file that have /series/
If you get.php doesn't do series like this then it will not pick them up
Download your get.php in a browser and see what format your series are. Some providers actually put the series in the /movies/
So series might actually be in the VOD section in Jedi.
