    No expert on this but with a bit of googling you can find all your answers.

    If your box is stalling all the time, give it a clear out, reflash a new image, delete unnecessary plugins and media plugins. Keep it barebones, your box will fly.

    You can have 2 boxes, but use 1 satellite line. You can then use something like the remote channel stream converter plugin, to import your bouquets to another box.

    As you only have 1 satelitte cable, you will only be able to watch channels on the same transponder at the same time.
    If you want to watch different channels or record and watch a different channel you would need an lnb with at least 2 cable lines.

    As for a central recording hub, you just need a nas drive on your network, and then you set up your recording to save to that.

    For zapping speeds, you don't say whether you are using a paid line or other, but usually this is down to your provider, the speed of your box, the softcams software you are using. I suggest using oscam as your softcam software with a couple of lines. If using any other softcams probably best to give your config files a once over and remove unnecessary stuff like logging.

    I am using a hybrid enigma2/android box at the moment and to be honest I find the android side of things annoying. I stick to enigma2 most of the time.

    If you want to use your android boxes, probably best just to use for iptv, stick perfect player on them and get a couple of descent iptv lines.

    change this screen to as below if you want the date in the bottom left corner

    <screen name="date">

    <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="47,658" size="240,28" font="Regular;24" foregroundColor="white" backgroundColor="botleft" valign="top" halign="center" transparent="1" zPosition="1">

    <convert type="SlykQClockToText">SlykHDDate</convert>

    </widget>

    </screen>

    You need to go into every single menu on your box,every single settings page, every single epg screen, every single panel, every choicebox and message box, Then if everything is skinned correctly then and only then is its ready for public consumption. :evil: No half baked skins on my shift. 8o. (rich coming from me when I release my skins with bugs this week. ha ha)

    But thanks for doing this.

    I say it all the time, no harm in trying a pre made build when your just first starting out. (we all do it - in fact your a brave man if you dont :) ). But a lot of these pre made back up builds try and do to much for the noob nowadays. Stick to a nice clean, none bloat pre made backup build. Your life will be a lot easier, and your box a dam sight faster.

    Sooner, rather than later, you should be learning how to flash an image from scratch, customise for your own personal needs rather than for the masses, and learning how simple this actual is once you are familiar with the process.

    There are many guides you can find on the net how to do this, there is one in my dropbox on how to do a zgemma that is quite detailed which can easily be adapted for any box, as all boxes pretty much follow the same routine.

    Find the latest image for your box with the build of your choice. Install it. Set up your sat or cable tuner. Delete unnecessary plugins you are never going to use. Download some plugins that you are going to use. Tweak all the settings on how you use your box (don't me scared of going in every menu and seeing whats in there). Put a nice skin on it. If need be install your softcams. Install an epg importer, install a bouquets maker. Job done.

    it was using softcams panel 2.0, which is what I currently use with no problems.

    I know v1, refuses to install now on newer builds.

    There wasn't something quite right with his build. I think his softcams software was buggered up.

    I tried uninstalling, then I couldn't re-install it, no matter what I tried.

    His mgcfg file was also only set to cccam, rather than both cccam and newcamd. Although changing this initially at first had no effect.

    We just reflashed with a fresh barebones openatv image with out a load of surplus crap and scripts you get in all these pre-built bloated backup builds.

    Just to clarify. As I am a bit confused.

    What box are you using.

    You have 1 paid line.

    You have both satellite and cable.

    Your line works in cccam but not mgcam.

    Is this correct.

    All the site is doing is returning torrent downloads for a particular ip address. Anyone that used, i say used (does anybody really download torrents anymore)... knew downloading torrents left a trace and could be linked to your ip address.

    And if you really need to download torrents, always use a proxy or vpn to download. What ever you are after downloading there is a lot better alternatives than torrents nowadays.

    I personally think that site is a bit dodgy. To test a VPN all you have to do is go onto any of the other hundreds of whats my ip address websites. For example...

    https://www.iplocation.net/find-ip-address

    or use a proxy judge

    http://azenv.net/

    Test it without your vpn running, test it again once your vpn is running. If its different your vpn is working.
