  • Wetek Play running OpenHDF - Picture locking every 5 seconds

    Hi Guys,


    Im not sure that the box may be broken, I have been trying to get this to work for weeks now, and would love some help.


    I installed OSCAM_wetek from the Open HDF 5.3 downloader menu. and also the Configs_oscam from the same menu.


    I then copied the oscam.server file from the etc/tuxbox/oscam folder to my pc and edited it which currently looks like this:-

    I then deleted the original off the box and uploaded the one above (with the ip,port details, and user and pwd etc.)


    I then went to the Softcam Cardserver Manager and selected OSCam for the Softcam, and Oscam for the card server
    Then I restarted them both.


    When I choose a channel, the picture and sound comes on, plays ok, ECM info appears ok, but then the picture and sound locks after 5 seconds.


    Its driving me mad, Ive re-aligned the dish, which is now a great signal, but dont know what else to try?


    When I look at the ECM info I can see it regurlarly changing Server ip address , but when I return to viewing there is no picture or sound

  • Entering Cam details into OScam plugin within OpenATV on a Wetek play box

    Can anyone point me on where I would add the configuration details for the SoftCam plugins I have installed on OpenATV on a wetek play box please?


    I have the extensions running, thought I may be able to http to the config area but just brings up OpenWebif web page of box

    there is a default localuser setup in oscam, does it need setting up elsewhere?
