  • Vu+ Solo 4k issues with Canadigital Nordic card - help needed

    Sorry to bring this old thread back up again.


    Some time ago (actually pretty long time ago) I found out that the configuration that I use did not work fully.

    When I have an updated subscription card it works and channels are decoded as intended.

    The problem I have is that the subscription card is not updated. So once a month I have to use a different receiver to update it. Then it works again for another month.

    For a long time this problem was obscured by the fact that I used the card with different receivers. Now I only use the Vu+ Solo 4k.


    I am not using the exact config given in post #3. As far as I remember, it didn't work immediately. After some trial and error I ended up with the config files attached here.Oscam config from VU+ 170809.zip


    Can someone please tell me what is wrong/missing here?

  • External USB hard disk standby problem

    I tried the first method, selecting media/hdd and the system rebooted. It didn't initialise the drive, so the recordings are still there as before. But it still doesn't go into standby.
    The LED on the hard disk keeps flashing and it sounds like there is some activity. Could something keep it active?

    Just a moment ago the disk went into standby mode. So it seems like it is now OK after all.

    Hi,
    My Vu+ Solo 4k is now up and running with oscam and I have established a favorite channel list. I have attached a USB hard disk, an Intenso Memory Center 5 TB with USB3.0. The hard disk works and I have made a couple of recordings to test it. So basically I am ready to go.


    But the hard disk does not go into standby. The setting is set to 10 minutes (as the default), but the hard disk just keeps spinning.
    Is there an issue with this in the Vu+ Solo 4k, in the Black Hole 3.0.0 firmware or could it be the hard disk? Or a missing setting somewhere?

    Hi,


    I am trying to make my Canaldigital Nordic card work on the Vu+ Solo 4k. I am new to this and need some help. I don't need cardsharing, I only need to get the card to work on this receiver.


    I have flashed the Black Hole 3.0.0 Vu+ Solo4k OE 3 image without problems. I then set up the tuners and scanned for channels on sat and cable. This all worked fine.


    I have installed the "enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-svn11086-solo4k_blackhole_all.ipk". I have also selected it via the blue button.


    I have tried with different configurations in the oscam folder, but so far without luck. I am uncertain regarding what is needed here and how critical it is regarding receiver type, passwords etc.
    Is there anything else I need to do?


    Does someone have a configuration, which will make the Canaldigital Nordic card work on this receiver?
