ok i will take apart and have a good look at the board but tell me what is the purpose of the simcard ?

I'm sorry but how can i use the Browser method if my box dose not display an IP address ?
That is the method i use when Bricking the box. i was told it was genuine so i used a genuine img. gave me the no CA error. i used one of the fixes the no ca is gone but now i just get ERROR!It dose not seem to connect to dream up either.

Hello everybody I have an issue with my box. im getting Dream multimedia Error ! on the Screen. it dose not say no CA found or any IP just DREAM MULTIMEDIA ERROR!
Can someone help me because the last box i flashed was a DM500 and it has no sim.I dont know what a bootlader is or which one and where to find it im sorry but a noob needs help !!!!!

@ Jokosat hi pall i have been having this issue the last few months but never got around to sorting it out.
i have a DM800HD PVR clone i tried o flash an image when i bought it. i was told its genuine so i flashed genuine.
the difference is that it was showing no CA but now it isn't . it is just showing me the dream multimedia and ERROR !im trying to connect with Dream up patched but im not sure if i am doing things right.
im getting a ERROR file too big . and by reading your post i don't even know what a BOOTloader is and where do i get it.Please help me Gent's/Lady's like our friend before all i ahve is an ornament......
