sorry if this is in the wrong section , not sure where to post my question.

so my setup is VU+DUO2 box with a dvb-c tuner installed and connected to virmin cable, also have an n-line to use with relevant cam installed.
I have a 2-way splitter to feed the internet modem which has a 3dB forward path attenuator (at the back of the modem) and the VU+ box, the internet works fine and the majority of TV channels also work fine apart from the ones with AGC levels less than 94%, so I'm not sure if this a signal power issue ? or do i need to add some amplifier or equaliser to the vu+ box ?
can anyone help with this issue?

not sure what I'm doing bud, correct me what I'm missing please, from plugin under transcoding setup on my reciever I put port i.e 8001. Same on my kodi addon/ pvr client/ vu+ enigma 2 and under advanced I put the streaming port to 8001 ( of course i put my vu+duo2 IP address under general) then I configured a port forward on my router and my local start and end point are 8001 and external start and end point is 8001 <<<< this is the bit that confuses me.

    Hello everyone
I was wondering if I could stream live channels from my Enigma 2 (vu+ duo2) to a different network through kodi,, I know how to stream within my home network by configuring enigma 2 plugin under PVR section then enable tv.
would love to be able to watch my TV while I'm out at my parents on my android box or kodi on my phone.
    Any help is much appreciated

    Hello everyone
I have a miraclebox premium mini HD single tuner DVB-S2 and im trying to flash an image on it, I've tried OpenATV, Openvix and EGAMI and got the same problem with each single one im trying to flash, after inserting the usb and flashing the image the receiver reboot it self and im stuck in the boot logo screen, restarted the device hundred times re-flashed it again and again but always stuck with the logo screen.
is this a hardware fault or am I doing something wrong.
kindly can anyone help me to sort this

    cheers

got it sorted, had to reflash the bootloader and reflashed new image and everything is working fine

i was given a line from a relative ( also the rest of my relatives who got cable got a line from him) , it's not pay server mate, he's a software engineer, no clue how his doing it but i'll pay him a visit soon and see his setup and ask him about it , maybe he got some answers!

yes it's not much different ,,,, you just add your line like normal sly, go auto bouquet maker ,( add the netid and select the area) scan for channels then you're sorted, of course you need to connect your cable from the splitter to the receiver before everything:09:

first of all I'm sorry if I'm asking the same question been asked a million times by different members here, but I really can't figure out how to get my n-line to work
    I have a vu+ duo2 with the latest open vix image, I already installed MGcamd1.38 from menu>plugins>softcams
I have an N-line which I'm trying to get mgcamd to read it but all my efforts are useless
    I understand I have to convert the line to be like CWS = myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

but I cant find a newcamd.list file to paste my line, there's also nothing like mc_cfg file , I looked every where, var/keys, user/keys and couldn't find anything
am I missing something from the tutorials I've been following? can some one please help me
    cheers

I got VU+ duo2 connected to cable ,,, what do you want tot know ?
if the question is how easy it's then the answer is it's really easy
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to know how easy it is to get the bk and other info needed mate.
If you don't mind me asking how much do you pay for your cline and how good is it.
    thanks

this is not what I meant,,, I was talking about normal setup like adding your line and search for channels. I don't use pay server so can't really answer that.

I've a c line on my cable box and I didn't pay for it, one of my relative has given me one as he only set it up for family and friends ,so not everyone on cable is actually paying money to a server.

    hello everyone
I managed finally to sort my vu+duo2 with openvix image, I leaned how to scan for channels and how to use cccam with c-line provided from a friend, big thank you (linuxsat-support) being here did really help me understand stuff that " google" wont give you a straight answer.
so my question is : I'm currently using VM cable to watch channels so I'm looking into buying another STB for my bedroom ( still want VM channels for bedroom) , what is the theory behind achieving this, do I simply use a three way splitter to feed a new STB or is it far complicated than this ?
just to make things clearer, I'm currently using a c- line from a family relative, do I have to ask him to create one more to be used on my second room? or is having multi-room from a cable service is only available to legit card holders?
could anyone help me with some answers and explanation please

    any help is much appreciated

P.S sorry if I posted this in the wrong category, didn't really know where to post it!
