Please make sure you select the correct entry when you configure the tuner.

No the dish I have isn't originally a saorsat dish I've found a place that does ship them although I'm just outside the area so may need a bigger dish, thinking give it a go and see if I need the bigger dish once I've got it.

Also the free to air channels where very easy to add and don't require a line 🤙🏻

Cheers yes I've seen that annoyingly the rte channels I want are broadcast on the 28.2 satellite but are encrypted which is a pain not heard of the Chinese box before I'd there any other clues to go with that?

Cheers have been looking on Google quite hard to get hold of the Ka lnb for some reason but will get there thanks for your help 🤙🏻

For Saorsat, you need a specific LNB.

FTA channels: you do not need Oscam.

Free to View channels: You need Oscam and a card with entitlements.

It might be better for you to add Saorview to your options.

Yes you are correct free to air via a dish is what I'm looking for, what is the specific lnb needed for saorsat?

And are "cards with entitlements" freely available or would this be a sub?

Hi guys and girls,

Been off the scene since 2016, mainly getting back into it too pick up Freeview Irish channels, I've got two dishes one pointed towards eutelsat 9° and one towards the astrasat 28.2° via a disqec switch.

Ordered a gigablue quad 4k off the bay which should turn up next week.

Can't remember if I need to set up oscam or similar for Freeview channels?

trying this again cant get it to recognise anything?

i used the power vu configs!?

beautiful work as always is the key loaction is var/tuxbox/config? and is it to much to ask for an example of newcamd severer file if possible ?

a folder containing loads of ncam files i'm using vix on the solo 4k

and the start/stop script would be transferred by putty?

is that ftp straight to tuxbox ?

how are we installing ncam on solo 4k from the .rar? does it work with nline

any way of getting this programme to import and external epg from url?

It seemed to come pre configured other than the reader file which should look something like

device = your server,your port

password = xxxxc
disableserverfilter = 1
group = 1

And paste into files>oscsm.server in your oscam web interface

having some real bad times with vermin lines are there any special configs to add for vermin?

Hi using a solo 4k with most recent vix and kiddacs v5 skin, I recently got a dual dvb-c tuner to be able to record one channel while watching another, however even if I'm watching the same channel I'm recording I get freezing every few minutes, as soon as the recordings cancelled there is no problem.

Any ideas?

Really? Do you have problems with the sound on any channels? I'm having sound and skipping issues are there any configs or should the already be added?

is this oscam working for anyone else? and or do we have relevant config files for it? using libreelec and tv headend my card works flawlessly however using this oscam in wetheathre im finding a lot of channels with no sound and or freezing?
