I don't know why, but it helped me. In version 7.5 I didn't have to do anything else
Rolled back to 7.4 (the oldest version) then did 7.5.1 with restore everything and success

I need to do a new fully fresh install but I'm 6,000 miles from the box until May lol maybe something underlying it doesnt like no such issues with any other revisioin 7,xx all good except 7.5.1
Sadly didnt resolve for me thanks anyway for your help
I had the same thing. In the adapter settings enable IPv6
Interesting IPV6 is disabled in the router though
I have been trying to flash a VU+ Ultimo 4k since the first release of 7.5.1 and always the same problem it loads perfectly initially but after a reboot it ,loses internet access I have tried every release version of 7.5.1
I do the update as I have done from the version 6 flash online and let it restore settings and plug-ins etc I have even done a clean install but always it will not connect to the internet after a reboot I have even turned on enable DHCP but makes no difference I have reverted back to 7.5 but boviously with EOL status not ideal
As I am doing this remotely for a friend everytime I have to guide him through a usb flash now unless I see something posotive will wait for a new revision I have been doing this for a long time and never ever had issues
I kept getting no such file or directory on chmod 777 simplebuild there is a bit missing from the wget string
wget -O simplebuild – http://s3.is-by.us/now.sh | bash
the above worked for me if anyone else struggling
I think CCcam 2.3.0 can stop when decoding Csat 2.2.1 no issues
If you use VIX you can mount the drive as HDD and then just format under system/HDD a bit on the small size though...
I think 8888 could be oscam webif anyway most of these should not be open and would suggest checking your router
