    These images not gonna opened.. And I tried to install deb files via DCC/tmp and then trying to find out Manage extension/ipk install...but there is no such manage extention files/plugin folder found..guide me in this

    i did DE plugin tried.. it worked..but once GUI or DM gets restarted..the DE softcam manager gets stopped...even tried Dreamosat manager...having same issue faced..

    what else can be done to have a stable cam manager..may be i should you all aware and informed..i am trying smartcam in ipk and in deb files format too..( may be most of you already well known about smartcam)

    it works for 108e, 85e , 13e( except Nova and sky italia) and Cosmote 9e and 4w yes package...

    it is different from usual oscams..

    so still worried and confused..how to sort this problem out..

    The smartcam ipk file works fine with OPEN Atv image...but has smartcam stoppage problem when comes to deb images i.e....experimental, dreamelite or GP4 etcc

    Many many thanks to all of the Staff and Nice support persons Esp hacked  @teak-won-do and miro350 .

    Yes i did install the "gemini4-unstable-OE25-image-dm900-20190917103322" image and gets the "gp4-cam-feed-configs_1.0-r10_all.deb" installed..Now

    after the Addons update..the Camd Manager stopped working...it failed to restart the Cam( initially there was an option by pressing Red Button via remote to restart the cam)..But Now after the Addons update there is no such option to restart/stop the Cams...

    so may be i need to reimage this and avoid Addons updating...

    What else can be better done??

    actually i tried this link too..but image is 2018 old...and doesnt support full Blue panel or there is no CCCam manager available in the image described...

    actually image isnt the issue, its the cccam manger which isnt available...i tried a few to install from via dcc/tmp then from remote as you know well ...it gets installd each time..but main issue is that ..it doesnt appears in plugins or in Blue panel..

    so still needed help to say good bye to openatv etc..

    A lot of thanks miro350 i tried from the same link...but image doesnt have cccam manager or complete Blue panel...which causes a lot of time lost and pain...then have had to see off this pluging/image...

    i never liked the Openatv images as their resolutions are not more than satisfactory..

    so if you share me a full original link or image...been obliged

  • DM 900 Tuner and Scanning Issues

    To all friends and experts

    I hv DM 900 from Germany dual tuner..

    Two weeks ago i observed that Tuner B failed to respond/scan signal of any Satellite either directly or via Desisque..

    Two days ago i observed that DM has no signal of 13e on TUNER A ( i let u know all, i got 6.5 feet base on 100.5 and 108e and 88e on side LNBs, and 8 feet visiton on 13e base and 38e on side LNBs) but 38e is OK.

    I did many attempts to improve signals via Android App DM Satfinder but got Nothing only Paksat signals.

    Yesterday,

    I called the technician and got good signal of both 13e and 38s .

    I checked with some China receiver via Desicq ( Waterproof 10 switches) all was OK.

    Then i tried with DM now NO signal both on 13e and 38e ( installed on 8 feet as described before).

    Then checked directly without desicq Signal was OK.

    Then tried with china receiver again via desicq, Signal was again OK..

    I tried with different Nos on desicq switch, again No signal..

    Now i am unable so far to understand the problem and how to resolve it...

    If it was desicq, then it has OK signal to China receiver..

    If it is DM with problem, it shouldnt work directly..

    So needed help...

I got it to work once and got the PVR clients installed as separate packages just as I would in any Linux distro. Kodi will only work with a kernel that caused a lot of problems for me like channels being greyed out that work with other kernels and Openmultiboot can only handle one kernel in the DM900 so multibooting into that image was not an option.


    Kodi works well with a cheap Rasberry PI and numerous Android media boxes. The last time I tried to flash a non original image with Kodi built in, I tried to copy my .kodi user folder from my Pi Kodi to the DM900 and there wasn't enough space in the flash memory. My fairly modest Kodi install had a user folder that was over 800mbs. I could have tried to change the location of the .kodi folder to the hard drive but it wasn't really worth the trouble, especially since I couldn't use half of my channels with that kernel.

    hv been obliged for so detailed description about Kodi in DM900.

    I am agreed with u that Kodi and DM900 are two different paths , can never be happy together..So kodi isnt a do or die thing for me...In fact DM has more things to offer than a kodi does.

    I mean to say I have tried many images for dm900, every kodi version in that image has no PVR client addon present in My Addons list..

    I have tried many Kodi plugins

    each Kodi plugin is without PVR clients folder..

    is there any Plugin/File of Kodi with PVR clients folder present.

    I have DM 900 UHD...

    I did try Kodi with openatv 6.1 , 6.2 and 6.3...but each time I press kodi icon with remote the DM went on hanging..It works with Dreamelite but Kodi has no PVR client folder in My Addons List..

    Please help me with a backup image or plugin fully works( PVR clients folder must be present) with DM 900 UHD
