The diagram is for vu + Zero
I made a cable according to this method - does not work with the vu + solo 4k
I found another diagram for vu + solo se v2 - this is not checked by me
1 - LED
2 - GND
3 - IR signal
4 - VCC (+ 5V)
5 - TxD (RS232 level - goes to RxD on PC)
6 - RxD (RS232 level - goes to TXD on PC)

Is the second diagram ok ?

On the back of the receiver is the RJ-12 (8 pin) which is described as rs-232
I'm interested in the description of the pin socket.

I have a question about the RJ12 port on the receiver vu + solo 4k.
I want to do a serial cable to the receiver.
I will be grateful for the information.
