sorry to hear that did not work for you. Do you know anyone who has a Duo maybe you could try their power supply as this can cause some issues
sorry for taking so long to reply I got the capacitor from maplins and snipped off the old one leaving as much of the legs as possible and soldered the new one to the existing legs, once the solder had cooled i was able to bend the new one to keep it from touching anything else. i put the cover back on the box and Bingo back in the game.
replace the original 16V 220uF 85 degrees celsius capacitor with a 105 degrees celsius 16V 330uF one.

PS make sure you take note of the polarity on the old cap before you replace with the new one.
Hi guys i had the same thing happen to my Duo about a year ago I opened the box and the capacitors looked fine with no signs of overheating or bulging
but I went ahead and replaced c 807 capacitor anyway and the Duo has been good ever since
sky sports news UK and Ireland both gone
