Hello Master G,

Could you please help me picking the right switches for my installation? I though maybe I can use 2 x diseqc 2.0 ? Is that make sense?
I am connected to 2 satellites and would like to use/record at least 5 sources at the same time with my Solo 4K receiver.
At the moment I am using a single cable from each satellite....

Since I sorted the Image right I've got a cosmetic question.

Currently using MetrixHD skin. when I first installed the Image I had this Info bar view (obviously no EPG detailed description in the center

I must have changed something because I've got this now (bit limited)

How can I come back to the setting with whether bit in the corner and extended bottom info bar?
Tried many configurations but can't come back to it....

Can't believe but it helped.... Did not want to format because of previous recordings on it but it helped - nothing happened since yesterday...

What I meant was that I am flashing old image with the new one and don't need an option to booting different ones yet.

If your answer is still that I am making a mess there doing so how can I clear everything to prepare it for fresh flashing?

I keep invastigate this matter - try HDD next - and let you know if resolve it.

This is what I just did for last 2hrs since you replied last:

1) installed fresh image of OpenATV 5.3 for VU+solo4K from openatv website (ver. 04/12/2016)
2) scanned 2 satellites HB & Astra 2 (no diseqc. just 1 antenna - 1 tuner)
3) added tv bouquets
4) installed softcam and configured (Oscam svn11272)
5) after that I did full backup to HDD installed

Up to this point everything works fine - restarts are clean and working

6) tried to install IPTV Player from section Addons and then asked me if I want to download few outdated component but still asking same ones all over again so i cancelled it.
Got message that system needs to restart and option Yes/No. pressed OK and then system crashed - didn't reboot - just crashed/froze.

I had to manually restart it but the system is down / logo OPEN ATV on TV and stuck for 20mins now.

I don't think the plugin was the reason maybe it was just coincidence because last time it happened wen I was watching tv - no other action from user.

I really like OpenATV and really wanna stay with it but maybe I should think about different image?

I flashed today's original image and worked for 2hrs - i did't even install all the plugins I wanted and froze again - same story - I'm starting to think about hardware problem - 3 weeks old device.

Hi Master G,

After a few days of using Your image (great one by the way) my Solo 4K froze suddenly with the picture on tv. No response to anything. 10s of holding power button on the remote and got in to reboot and newer get up again. I've got SOLO 4K logo on the little LCD and nothing else.

Any ideas?
