But that will be the same as buying a Apple Iphone and then put some tweaked version of Android on it.

Haven't used the receiver for 2 months. During this time I have read all pages of 4 topics on Bohpirat (After Earth, Rescu Loader, gutemine feed, Dumbo... ). The topics were opened to help Dream users. But that made it even more difficult. Smiled and turned back on the Android TV box I bought 2 months ago. YouTube works (off support), IPTV works without interruption, EPG is there from the link in m3u8 file.... And no need to read anything, no need to ask for help. BUT!!! Boring.
Please help me . I am downloading the EPG for IPTV channels. But it is not displayed. If I turn on the satellite channel and switch to the iptv channel - the EPG is displayed. I used to change the settings. But now I forgot.
DM Two, DreamOS AIO
Yes. We need to mount it.
If something go wrong can you come back at the original image without any problem.?
I wouldn't risk it. When flashing this image, MUST uncheck the save settings checkboxes. My advice: flash to SD-card using " Dumbo " script. It will be more reliable. I've already flashed it : wi-fi doesn't work, I couldn't change the password. I didn't have time to figure it out - work. I'll look at it tonight.
Compression format is zip, not mmc or tar. There are 4 files in this folder. One of them is an instruction for you how to flash the image:
" To update with the webbrowser select rootfs.tar.bz2"
I don't think you can do anything.
On the site "pirates" they wrote about your problem. I'm not an expert, maybe I misunderstood (difficulty translating via Google). You remounted the internal flash. Gutemine promised some solution by 06-07-2023.( Pride Day)
Good luck.
I believe. The problem is on my side.
Changed the sd card - loaded. Although the image of the GP from emanuel was loaded on the first SD card, but the ATV was not.
Miracles.
This topic was created in the wrong section. Here about Universal images for receivers One, Two, Seven.
Am I a "sycophant"? Do you think I'm "protecting" Dream? Ha ha ha!! I am not a slave to things. Any fool can criticize.
I'm not a fool. If I don't like a thing, I don't buy it.
And you write the same thing in two different topics. You're breaking forum rules.
linuxsat-support.com/thread/?postID=728670#post728670Envy of Dream receivers will kill you.
No way. He's not there. It's on the sd card. Turn off the receiver with the toggle switch, pull out the SD card, turn on the toggle switch. The image will load.
How can I help you?
I didn't have any instructions.
There was such an instruction from the author :
root@dreambox:/media/hdd:# chmod 0755 ATV.bin
root@dreambox:/media/hdd:# ./ATV.bin
root@dreambox:/media/hdd:# reboot
Is it clear now?
I don't have a Mac. I don't know what programs work on a Mac with Enigma2.
If you don't know how to give 755 permissions, leave/quit this thing.
Sorry.
then how installed Android 13 ?
To install Android 13, use the instructions.
I couldn't install Android9 from GP4.1
I installed the Dream Elite image and through the OS installer loaded Android9 from Dream Elite.
I also installed Android 13 (Emmanuel) on another SD card. I like this one better.
0. Turn off Bluetooth on the remote. Android does not work with it.
1. Install the flash drive (USB) into the receiver.
2. Mount as media/hdd or media/usb
3. Download ATV13 to your computer and unzip
http://download.blue-panel.com…er/AndroidTV_20230402.zip
4. Through DCC, copy the ATV.bin file from the computer to the receiver (media/hdd or media/usb)
5. Give the ATV.bin file permissions 755
6. Insert a SD-Card (FAT32) for 32-64 GB into the receiver
7. Through DCC or Putty give commands:
a. cd media/hdd
or
cd media/usb
b. root@dreambox:/media/hdd:# ./ATV.bin
c. root@dreambox:/media/hdd:# reboot
8. Pull out the USB!
9. Look CAREFULLY! on the TV screen with the remote control in hand.
During the Android boot process, you will need to select the second item in the bootloader - AndroidTV (sdcard) and click OK
Here you have to wait a long time. Then Android will appear.
10. Further on your own
Sorry.
Replace from post #3
Save your file " ui.py " on your computer (in case of failure).
Download file ui.py from post #5
With FTP:
1. init 4
2. delete file ui.py, ui.pyo, ui.pyc from /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Foreca
3. add ui.py (#5 ) No post #3
4. init 3
I haven't tried. I have a Dreambox Two ( DreamOS 2.6) and these files don't work on it.
