Had the problem with crossepg autoupdate keep defaulting to internal flash. Tried editing the config manually etc. In the end found creating a symlink for /var/crossepg/data to /hdd/media/crossepg solved this. Only problem then was after an update it would stop responding to the remote. Added an scheduled reboot into cron now all is fine :)
