don't know if it's just me, but no entried on any channels have full descriptions, only got the tv show names.

to be fair, it seems rytec is also having some issues with duff data.
yesterday it said that horse racing was on Comedy Central +1.
maybe there is something in place that is feeding out duff data to catch those that are taking the data and using it elsewhere?

ah well... Dave HD back to be wrong today.
currently (12:14) it thinks American Pickers is on, but it's some cop show that is on.

Dave looks correct at the moment.

I certainly prefer the openTV data, in terms of the show descriptions etc.
the rytec data format is pretty poor IMO (albeit accurate).

what does rytec do that's difference? as that source does appear to have correct data. albeit the descriptions are stupibly long bordering on useless.

yeah it wasn't just Dave though last night.
got to the point where i couldn't trust the EPG and was having to revert to using a tv guide app on the phone to see what was on.
Try rytec for a while see how that goes, mine is based on openTV data, the same you get with crossepg on sat his is based on tv guide websites that may be more accurate for you.
oh god no. i hate rytec. stupidily long descriptions.
i much prefer the opentv data.

well those missing channels appeared to come back on their own.
however, i'm now getting EPG data that doesn't match what is actually on.
for example, currently Dave HD has Live at the apollo on, but the EPG says it's Have I got News For you.
