  • Need help Updating Hashmode on Zgemma H7 using Oscam?

    I am using the latest version of Oscam but it still won't open 4040H on 58 West.. still finds invalid keys. I am trying to understand on how to find out and update Oscam to decode the required Hashmode.. Any help is greatly appreciated! I try to learn what I can when I have a little bit of time to work with it.

    Hi... I just assign each key the same 4 digit number before the Channel SID

    example:


    P 14440191 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ;TV Land East HD

    P 14440191 01 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ;TV Land East HD

    P 1444 xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; EMM Key

    that's how i understand it has to be written in softcam key.

    the 144 is just a random number i picked to add to all channels on the transponder. The 0191 is the channel ID

    I'm still learning this stuff but i got a good handle on it.

    Hey Thanks A Ton.. I'v found lots of keys surprisingly.. Now the EMM key do they have to be updated? or does it stay the same and just roll the active keys?. Making a channel list is taking forever! I had to get some sleep

    hey thanks for your the info.. The ones I am looking for is on 101w. 125w , 127w . Looking for KTLA.. WGN, Sony Movie channel. Viacom etc..im still learning how to write my softcam. I'm confused on how they are supposed to look and how to get the autoroll keys. Only one I have to study by is AFN since that is all that I have working. I have a openbox z5 with autoroll but it writes the keys a strange way. I'm not sure how to read them. Yes tons of work.

    hey thanks.. were you just getting a black screen? is there a good place to find a channel list for north America?

    I'm using openpli and I see in the info bar on the channel it shows emulator then 1s beside it

    Master G I tried that as well. The good news I can see I am decoding the channel. just unsure why I am not getting video.

    from the looks of it I think I'm not getting my stream back into my box once the decoding is done.

    Thanks Master G.. i'v set up stream relay and set up the channel in my channel list that I am testing. I don't see any config files in post #55. thanks for your reply

    Master G it's hard for us folks on the other side of the pond to find updated keys. can Ncam pull keys on its own without a EMM or ECM key?, I have a openbox z5 that autorolls keys on some channels but they have a strange way of configuring the softcam.key.

    Guys I am having the hardest time with this.. I just can't seem to figure out how this works or what needs to go where. I have read every tutorial I can find on this site and I still am not understading it.. everything I read they do something different than before.. very confusing. I did get my channel list set up for stream relay I think I figured that one out. I just can't figure out ncam or oscam on where or what needs to be set. very frustrating.
