My recommendation Amiko Viper 4K V20 (new model for 2020/2021).
In my opinion the best budget 4K hybrid satellite receiver currently on the market.
With a price better than Vu+ and Zgemma models in the same class.

At end the Customer decide what he like more and that is the point. I also love Linux boxes, but they are not for everyone and therefore are Linux box manufacturer suffering with not sold boxes and crowded warehouse ;) even Infomir has figured it out, so it produces Android boxes.
Formuler Z8 Androit OTT offers the most optimized IPTV experience.
MYTVOnline2 is one of the best applications on the market, which comes exclusively with Formuler.
Some clones use this app also but by far the best experience is with this box.
For satellite reception Amiko VIPER 4K51 with Enigma2 turned out to be a good thing for me. The latest version of OpenATV works perfectly, image quality and receiver speed are good. I'm very pleasantly surprised by this receiver. And the price is extremely good. With one extra fan I solved the cooling, now the operating temperature is more than extra. Very stable device. I guess the Chinese did not develop much for this receiver on their own. I think they took technology from others and merged it into this device. This should be like some XTrend clone.
I am using Enigma 2 receiver Amiko 4k51 with Open ATV 6.4 beta. Are there any settings in OpenATV for dvb subtitles rendering? Watching HD channels with subtitles that are not sharp enough is not a nice experience. Video quality loses meaning because subtitles are poorly displayed. When I stream the same channel to VLC the subtitles show up nicely.
