Ok guys, it seems my version 2 vu solo clone is no longer going to work with my vix 2.4 image. Absolutely gutted as Im pretty sure it had the best EPG, plus it was completely stable for me.

From googling it seems cool tv guide is the next best looking epg but im unusure how to set it up, i downloaded it from the cool homepage but i think maybe crossepg has to be setup first then cool tv guide mirrors it or something.

Ive been using vti 4.1, nice images but keep getting tune failed so may switch to black hole.

I will probably try all images but anyone have a suggested image for me....

Is it possible to get different picture quality with different shares. I have been looking at different shares and pretty sure i could notice difference in the hd channels quality of pucture

I want to compare lines from two different servers, i think that i need to check ecm times, how do I do that on a vu+ duo clone running vix 2.4 155. Also, is there anything else you can check to see what server is performing the fastest.

I know if I put both c lines in my cccam.cfg file the server that has lowest ecm time will clear the channel first, i.e if Server 1 is faster it will clear *** Sports 1 first.

I have sorted the sim problem. Its fixed. The problem is the front panel display. It does not display anything, just flashing red led. I need to know how to fix it or buy a new display. The overseas supplier only has the front panel with no lcd display...

Any ideas folks, ive looked everywhere forca solution,??

Strangely, they dont. They sell the front cover with display for the 800hd se but for the 800hd they only have front cover with no display.....

Yep. Well ive found a new holder ok. Just the front panel, is there anything, that can be done, i have positioned the connector every which way but no joy

Yet another mess up with a dm800hd, have been reading lots of similar stories and this box seems to be pretty fragile. Anyway the problem was with the sim card holder. I only removed it to check what sim number it was, it is 2.10 but I could not get the thing back in and now Ive snapped the holder. I tried so many times and I removed the front panel display so many times that now there is no display showing. The red light still flashes so the box will probably still be useable.

I can actually get the box to power up by just holding the sim card down with my hand but will have to see if there is a website that sells the holder.

So really if anyone can help with getting the display back on...and a supplier for the holder....

Im trying to find vix build 2.4 143. I think that is the latest image supported on the clones. Has anyone got a working download link...?

Ive tried updating my vu solo using vix 3.0. My solo is a clone and have read its not compatible. Ive now tried 2.4 158 but still same black screen.

Have I messed my solo, what can I do...?

Mate of mine has his in the back garden, just in the ground. He did say the pole defo has to be 100% plum...

I would happily buy the eaglebox, regardless that it is closed source. I am just wondering if the box is stable. It has hd, cccam, pause and record but can it perform these functions well.

Channel list is not a big deal, sure could make my own, only have to do it once...

To stop people from reusing the line as it is as you say, one line per box and should not be reshared...

I really like the VIX image. I set a vu solo up for a friend of a friend who took the c line off his box and used it on a couple of his friends boxes. I only set boxes up for friends and people I know but think it would be good if I could block the server line being displayed...

I want to install 1channel movie plugin for the vu solo running vix image. i usually do it through the plugin menu, very easy but it has been down for maintenance the past week. How do I go about installing it manually...

I have a coax cable running from the back of my vu box(with rf mod) up to my roof space to my amplifier box. I do not get my terrestrial tv channels as I am told that I need to have a second cable running from the rf modulator box up to my roof space amp box. I cannot get a second cable up there and have been told one cable is fine if I use a diplexer.

Never heard of this, anybody know about this...?

I have a few dm500s, paid £40-50 for them. i see you can get a hd eaglebox for less than £50. Is it worthwhile buying a hd eaglebox over a dm500s. I found the dream box 500 very reliable, easy to setup and just a real good quality box at a modest price...

But HD at the same price is tempting..
