How to identify clone Ali3602 HD Receiver (updated on Apr.18,2012)

Dear consumers :

If you have an Ali3602 HD Receiver like ***BOX S9, S10, S11, S12...there is a method to identify if it is original (quality goods) or clone.

Before identify , please backup your old software on the box by usb.

enter menu---tool---information---press "8888" key, now you will see CHIP ID . If the box CHIP ID is in the chip_id_list, congratulatation, your HD Receiver is original version! You can upgrade any new firmware to experience more new functions. Otherwise, You Box is clone version , please recover the software with the old version! This software will kill the clone box when power on over 10 times. If less than 10 times, no kill for clone verion.
the chip_id_list is the following, it will update everyday: (updated date :18/04/2012)

i have got a dead f3 box no lights on am tring to fix it by Flash Using Serial RS232 Null modem Cable and the right program and new firmwhere have tried difrent timing with switching box on it conects then get stb memore erer a bit after.

have tested on a working box and all works fine so know set up working ok.

eney one got eney iders that i cud tri out

have heard these are good boxs

i have hered lods of bad things about these boxs and lodes having problems so i stade away from them

there as been 39 user that have downlode it so shud be ok not using this one my selfe

if its zip un zip it will just be one item and shud be some thing like this HDS2.abs as to have .abs at the end you cud just rename it to this HDS2.abs as i have had poblems with some with long names then put on the usb key not in eney folders then upgrand by usb on the box

all i can think of is put the new firmwher this can corse these sort of problems

i have not got a s16 but hered a lodes have had problems with this box

thanks for that its good to know ive been using ubunto 10.4 sever and was told there where more or less the same will have to have a go with Debian

yes best to all ways log in as root and then no probs and dont have to use sudo comand every time

yes f3 boox is good and stable

you can up grade by a null modem cabel rs232 but you dont need the ip for this if you use lan tool you will need the ip of the box if you log in to your rooter it will show whot is conected and there ips or you can you an ip scner that will give all ips on your network i use a free one called Advanced IP Scanner

this is the fix for some chanles missing some hd if no *** sports 3 HD and uthers are mising this will sort it out you can get parts from maplins or rs conponts and make it yours selfe rater than geting riped off bying one on ebay hope this helps pepel out if your strugling i can make some up for pepole on here. have atched my digram with info and how it works

This also fixs the no hd chanles on the amiko alien SHD-8900 i have tested and it works a treet all sports and moves in hd work

ive all wased used ubuntu as see more info on this dont think there is much between them thore know this duse not help that much but just whot i think

hi mate glad it helped yes thay dont seem to put it in info with the f/w

in menu move items on left till network is shown on right press 6666 on the remote then cccam shud apere on the right hope this helps
