i am going to try both or your guys' configs and see if I get a different result.

Edit: I had an interesting idea. Maybe it doesnt work if both slave and master box have oscam-emu. What if the master box has oscam-emu and slave has oscam?

i have two receivers in my house, one is octagon sf8008 and the other is dm920. If i run oscam-emu with softcam.key on dm920, can i share it with sf8008 via newcamd or cccam through oscam-emu. I see threads with people successfully sharing cards with oscam but didn't find anything for sharing oscam-emu (softcam.key)

In theory yes it should work, but why not just get both boxes to do it on there own ??

Just for fun. I started doing this yesterday but am still stuck. I can establish a connection between the boxes with both newcamd or cccam but the channels will not clear

i see alot of users have shared oscam emu patches which just have the "oscam" file. what do i do with this file? Am i missing something? The only way i know to install oscam-emu on my vu+ zero 4k openatv 6.2 is with an .ipk file.

i followed above mentioned instructions and oscam is now installed. can someone please provide me with oscam emu config files.

edit: i want to mention that i already have experience with oscam-emu on vu+ zero 4k with openatv. The images i got for my vu+ box had all the config files already installed but dreambox is a pain in the a**

    Softcam key is in var/tuxbox/config.

here is the log i am getting:

Edit: i am so sorry i cant copy and paste the log in proper format

Can somebody confirm if octagon sf8008 supports oscam-emu for powervu autoroll. I read somewhere that the any kind of cams are blocked on sf8008’s board. Want to know if its true or not
