The disk is mounted on sda1, i checked in mount manager. I have since tried a different HD and it would not initialise either.

Previously I had a 4gb usb flash drive connected and it worked ok so I dont know what the problem is.

When I go to initialise the hard disk it never gets past 50%, I even left it over night. The message comes up that the disk is initialising and I can watch TV while the process is working, but it never completes.

I even left it over night and still it was only at 50%.

    Any ideas why this is?

I have an Alien 2 Triple tuner running Satstation Beta E2

    Hi Mate,

I seem to have fixed the problem.

I have 2 cables coming in, one cable had 2 sats on it via simple diseqc a/b, the other just has a single sat.

I just set up both tuners as diseqc and no it is picking up the 28e and 13e on one tuner, and just 28e sat on the other. So it seems to be working fine.

The only problem Im having now is with CrossEPG. I am getting 7 days on some channels, but noting for other channels.

For example, on 28e in the entertainment bouquet I am getting full 7 day epg for the first 5 channel (bbc's, its, c4, c5). then the next few channels I am getting no epg (*** 1 etc)

Im using the latest satstation one that IO got from this forum.

Also, I can not get Diseqc working. I have a simple a/b setup which works fine on my openbox, but only tunes one sat on my alien 2.

Any ideas on any of these queries?

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the audio track for a channel in E2 on the amiko alien 2 triple tuner?

There are a couple of channels with the wrong audio track playing, mostly music channels.

I had this problem before on the DM800 and there was an audio button which I pressed and chose a different audio stream, the box saved this setting then.

The firmware behaves very much like the DM800 one, but the remote is not the same and I cant find a button to change the audio.

    Any help would be appreciated.
