Hi All
With all the recent changes to the Openpli 4 image lately, today I decided to do a complete re-flash on my VU+ Duo 2. All as been going well until I tried to re-install Ondemand. When installing the dependencies, I receive an error message that it can't downgrade 2 or 3 of the ipk files. Therefore the Ondemand ipk won't install. Can anyone tell me how I can get around this ? I know that many of the players don't work anymore, but I find it useful for the ITV Player. Hopefully the others maybe fixed in the future. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Master G
I didn't think to try the cable.xml file, but as the second Tuner is hardware, I would have thought that the image would have seen it. I will try Adding the cable.xml file to see if that works.

Hi Pheonix
You are right I did take a chance flashing the Openpli 4 LX1 image onto an LX2, but the way I see it is that someone modded an Openpli 4 image to work on a LX1. The only difference between the LX1 & LX2 is the extra tuner.

I'll give this a go later this week. egami is probably the only image I haven't tried yet.

Hi Guys
I recently purchased a Golden Interstar XPEED LX2 HD COMBO Receiver. I have to say that it has very strong Tuners & I'm well impressed with it. Although there are a number of different images available which are based on Openpli, I was wondering if there is an Openpli 4 image available for this receiver. I've noticed there is one for the LX1, but if this is flashed (I've Tried It) the second (Cable) tuner is not recognised.
I currently run Openpli 4 on my VU Duo 2 & find that it is the most stable. I would like to try it on the LX2 if it is available.
Thanks Guys

Hi Guys
I've noticed over the last couple of days that BBC iPlayer isn't working on my Solo2 with the above plugin. Anyone else having this problem or is it just me. Last weekend my Broadband was supercharged to 50mb + not sure if this has effected it.

Hi All
I'm wondering if someone could help me with this. I noticed this morning that 4OD wasn't working, so I decided to do a software update. Unfortunately as well as 4OD not working I can't get any of the other services to work. As luck would have it, I did have a backup (Openpli 4) to re-install. Its working again except for 4OD. My backup is a couple of months old & I would like to update it, but how can I do this without screwing up Ondemand ?

Hi All
False Alarm, itvplayer is working again. The server must have been down or something.

Hi
Can anyone tell me what are the advantages of using the 750 MHz bootloader as opposed to the 600 MHz ?
Is there anyway of knowing which bootoader is already installed ?
Finally, does the updating of the bootloader effect the image & settings on the receiver ?
Thanks In Advance.
Hi master G & Ian1095
Thank you so much for your help, its now working.

Hi Ian1095
I type in the command opkg install librtmp & receive the message Unknown Package librtmp. Cannot install package librtmp. Am I doing something wrong ?
Wizard
Hi Ian1095
Sorry for not being clearer. Yes, nothing streams. Sorry for sounding thick, but where do I obtain librtmp from ?

Hi All
I've used the opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk command as suggested by master G & Ondemand Installs onto my Solo2 (Openpli 4), & rebooted, the plugin installs but doesn't work. I then added all of the Dependencies to my tmp directory & re-installed these using the overwrite command & rebooted, but still Ondemand doesn't work. Any help much appreciated.

Hi All
I have a Solo2 with Openpli 4 installed & recently (2 weeks) updated. I've tried the Ondemand ipk posted by master G, but receive via telnet error messages stating that 4 dependencies are missing, beautifulsoup, simplejson, libxslt & lxml. I then install these separately, but when I try to install the ipk as posted by master G, I receive error messages stating that libxslt, simplejson are already provided by the package. Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand-4od-fix.
I've managed to install Ondemand using digidudes post, but cannot get it to work. :59:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kestrel
Nice one, How many screws did you have left over ? lol
Hi Kestrel
You need to replace the C807 220uF 16v cap with a new one. I would recommend using a higher value cap, I used a 330uF 16v cap. I've replaced a few of these recently, bit of a pig to do as the mainboard has to be removed to do it properly. The faulty cap is on the Mainboard & not on the Powersupply board.

Hi
I think the Livefootball plugin does not work because it uses the same server as Tsmedia. When that is fixed Livefootball plugin should also work.
