the first question is, if you can receive the italy beam in your area...
Good point George, I forgot about the beam and that's the answer, I can't receive it :eye roll:
Hi,
Should an OS mio 4K receiver scan in the multistream channels from 9.0 East?
Using an OpenViX image and scanning 12.25-12.50GHz I am not locking any of the multistream channels.
Is there a setting somewhere in the OpenViX image to enable multistream or will an OSmio 4K receiver simply not scan them?
Thx
Please, what is code to remove Addkey plugin, thx ?
Report back, please.... :)
I got it working by deleting the PurE2 feed oscam config files and copying the config file set from another multiboot image on the mio. I do not use any lines, only use for PVu and biss so only need simple configs. It seems to be OK for biss at the moment and will test PVu later.
Thx to all of you for help.
Display MoreYes the emu reader should be on.
It is easier to control oscam via the webif
your box ip address :8888 like this example 192.168.1.232:8888 in an internet browser window
click on readers and turn on /off whatever ones you want
For decoding a biss channel only the emulator reader is required
I use AddKey plugin myself with out issue, are you using the latest version ?
all you need to do is setup the oscam webif info on the plugin and reboot the box.
Virtual keyboard is disabled by default

Thank you for reply. Do I turn on readers by changing 0 value to 1 value?
The AddKey plugin I use is not the one by momi, it is the one by Max, v3.9
I use webif for ocscam control by clicking the link in the webif Extras section
What channel / sat are you trying to get working,??
i tested this myself earlier today, and the softcam key that came with the configs work for me ....
There was no softcam.key file in the configs feed download.
I was testing oscam with volleyball biss feed from 10.0E. I FTP a softcam.key to the mio in configs folder and can open it in oscamwebif but the log says it is not checking oscam.
I was going to use the AddKey plugin to enter key but it kept crashing PurE2 image, looked like the virtual keyboard in the AddKey plugin was causing problems?
All readers are set to 0 in the oscam file that controls readers/emu, I think that I need these to 1 but not sure?
Here is live log:
from the same camd plugin area, install the oscam emu configs, reboot box after.
Thanks for help, I find oscam-configs in the feed and downloaded/installed them and now see them in filezilla ftp. I copy softcam.key to config folder as it not in download feed.
now my problem is that softcam.key not getting asked for keys by oscam, do i need to edit some of the config files for a reader to tell to use sftcam? I m not sure if the config files from the feed are enabled to work immediately, perhaps need editing?
thx for any help.
Hello, I loaded PurE2 onto os mio and install camd. Next I download oscam-emu from the PurE2 feed and can see in cam manager. I have problem to find some oscam files like oscam.conf, oscam user, oscam server, softcam.key ?
Do I need to FTP these file to os mio and what folder location for FTP please?
Thank you for replies. I got FTP to work, the FTP setting was disabled in the menu. As soon as it was enabled FTP from filezilla work OK. Open ATV has FTP enable/disable option.
Hello,
I have problem connecting with DCC or filezilla to mio 4K running OpenATV v 6.4 image.
I tried user ID root and no password set in receiver, no good. I then set password in OpenATV and tried root with password, no good.
Other images in multiboot on the mio are OK for FTP, only this OpenATV image will not connect.
Any help please?
Hi,
Is there a menu setting to sort by frequency the channe list created from a scan using OpenATV on an Octagon SF8008?
Thx
the softcam manager will be in blue button (extensions)
but ... possibly it didn't installed . try to do it by telnet, or the tools that i wrotte above. if you try to install it from "software manager/install local extension" many times it fails...
Thank you, the softcam support was under the blue button, 1st item in the menu. I started the oscam-emu and can see it in the webif.
In the softcam support extension I noticed there was no option to force the oscam-emu to start after a reboot. This option is often present, has it been removed from this softcam-support package?
the "softcam support" is included in the rar.
also, before step 3, you have to correct attributes in the files that i wrotte above.
than reboot (to reload the image the files)
and than go to softcam manager, and select the cam...
I am without success :-(
I found a menu option to install a local extension package in the TNAP 3.2 image and installed the softcam support package. It seemed to install OK as there were no error messages. I copied all the files to their correct locations and set the permissions to 755 for /usr/bin and etrc/init.d. Then restarted the mio and no oscam present in the webif and I cannot find the softcam support option anywhere in the TNAP 3.2 menus.
I guess I need to find the softcam support managerin the TNAP 3.2 image to start oscam but I have looked and just cant seem to fnd it?
Thank you for any hepl.

Do I have to run the ipk installer via Telnet?
I cannot find a menu option in the TNAP 3.2 image to install from the menus?
If it is via telnet would anyone please be able to give me the command line?
I have used filezilla to send the softcam support ipk file to the tmp folder of the mio
Thank you.
i played for a while a few days ago, and you can do it work in tnap 3.2 by installing the files below.
files in etc/init.d and usr/bin need attr 755
install first the softcam support.ipk ...
Can you please confirm if I understand the process correctly?
1. First step is that I install a "softcam support ipk" package.
2. Second step is that I copy the files from the tnap.rar archive using filezilla to their correct locations on the Mio receiver running TNAP 3.2
3. Third step is to use the softcam manager to start oscam and set to restart on reboot etc.
Is there a link to the "softcam support ipk", I checked the download feeds for the TNAP 3.2 image and there is nothing in it for softcam support.
Thx for any help
Thx to you for USA softcam. Is file universal hash modes or is it the new e2 only hash modes?
It works :)
Thank You.
I looked at your files and there seem to be lots of lines that I do not use apps with, for example, I do not use CCCam or any other cams except softcam. Can I remove some lines from the files to reduce capacity and amount of running code or is it better to leave them?
Hello,
I have OS Mio receiver with oscam-emu installed from "enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu_svn11581+git1837+119cb36-r0_aarch64.ipk" file. Oscam is started in Mio and I can see it is in Webif but it is not working on any PVu channels. I have softcam file that I can edit in webif with good keys but after save and restart still not work on PVu (SIS 4.8E). I use softcam.key file of enigma1969, "enigma only hash" version.
Do I have to update my oscam config files such as oscam.conf, oscam.server to tell it to use softcam.key file?
I cannot see any path to /etc/tuxbox/config/softcam.key in my config files. Image is latest version of OpenVix for OS Mio.
I post copy of my oscam.server below but not sure of any other files to show to get some help as not sure which files should tell oscam to use softcam.key for PVu.
