    I have had one card paired, and another entitlements run out, I have been having all sorts of issues, not really clued up in all this, but it works in-house and is saving some money.The card I have in now is not paired, hence I can clear all channels.
    Could you elaborate a bit more for me on "Try just using cccam to update your card with the correct box key", exactly how do I do this?
    about the bt sport, if I ring and get bt on card, I should see the update in oscam within 10 mins/two hours? Is that correct?
    So if I dont see the update, then I assume the enitilements will also not update, is this also correct?
    If this is the case, then I have set this up wrong.
    Can oscam alone update entitlements?
    Cheers

    Hi Guys
    I need help, I have had entitlements run out and am now on a different card. I am afraid if this one does not update either.
    I have read and ,think I have followed directions for updating, but obviously doing somrthing wrong, any help is a great help.
    My setup is Oscam Version: 1.20-unstable_svn Rev. 7149

    Is this right?
    Also is there any way you can check if entitlement updates are working, before they actually run out?
    If I add bt sport to service, will entitlements show update right away? or if updating is not configured right, do I lose that update and have to ring bt again, or will it update by itself if my configs are rectified?

    Why not continue to use your Netgear?

    I switched to BT today and just reconfigured my Netgear for BT's settings! Took about 5 minutes and my move from O2 to BT meant only 30 mins downtime!

    I have a netgear dgnd3300
    I dont think its compatible with fibre.
    The bt hub has a wan port,which conncts to the openreach filter, whereas the netgear only has adsl, and lan ports.

    Some netgear routers go with 192.168.0.x addresses were as BThubs tend to be setup with 192.168.1.x
    Is the servers IP static or dhcp?

    At the moment I made it static, but I have tried dhcp.

    Have you tried using your dns details in one of the internal shares to see if that works, if it does you will know for definate that it is a internal network problem.

    Yes I tried that and still wouldnt log in, I even tried wifi , and still no joy, all laptops and ipads are fine, either by lan or wifi.
    Just seems to be the boxes.

    Have you checked the lines in your boxes which are setup for a internal share, the ip addy of your server may have changed when you connected it to the home hub, if this is the case then you will need to edit the ip addy in the c lines in the boxes. The box outside your home is working fine as it is probably got a dns addy in the line, internal shares use the ip addy of the server to connect to it.

    I have checked and done that, the box on the lan pings ok, and shows its ip as connected on the hub, but it wont log into my server.

    On my lan,,I have 3 f3 boxes,, all were working fine until I changed to Bt hub.
    Now , although I can see them as connected in the hub, they wont log into my server connected to the lan.
    I also have a box at my mothers, and it connects fine to the hub, and server, via the internet.
    So the ports seem to be ok, maybe, and I have messed with all the settings in firewall etc.
    I hope this clarifys things a bit better.

    Hi all, just go BT homehub4 installed yesterday, and its bollockesed up my internal sharing setup.
    I had three boxes on my lan on a netgear working fine, now the bt hub is showing all the lan boxes as connected but the actual box itself wont connect to the ip of the router?
    So for example box 1 shows in hub, ip info, status, connected.
    But at the box it pings the ip ok, but wont log into server.
    From outside the lan, external box, connects fine with no issues.
    So I assume port forward is ok.
    Any Ideas anyone?
    Cheers

    Sorry to bother u again, mate, but is this the right cfg for updating/recieving emm?
    Cos of your help I now have a local user set up using cccam, switched on sly1 permanent, for time being.

    [account]
    user = test2
    pwd = pass2
    group = 1
    uniq = 1
    au = slycard
    keepalive = 1

    In auprovid do I put ***uk or is it slyuk, same as reader?

    [reader]
    label = slycard
    description = slycard
    protocol = smartreader
    device = 002:004
    pincode =
    caid = 0963
    detect = cd
    mhz = 534
    cardmhz = 575
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-unknown = 1
    saveemm-g = 1
    lb_weight = 101
    auprovid = 1F1F1F

    How do I know that I am getting emm,s?
    Cheers

    In My house I have 3 boxes and a pc set up as server.192.168.0.3 and so on
    When I add user via webif in Oscam, like above n lines, they work, no problems.
    But then when I run into the problem where I got no updates/entitlements, I started reading possible reasons for so.
    I then tried adding nlines into cccam.cfg to see if that does anything, hence why they are there.
    I have another box, external, it uses newcamd, and works no bother.
    I really am going round in circles, halfway but far away.
    My card is in limp mode now, and I aint even sure if I should put it back in to the orignal box.

    Sorry bout that.
    thx
    The cccam.cfg is below, but I not even sure if its working along with oscam.

    I'm sure by looking at this you can gather this cfg is downloaded and pasted, altered a touch.
    Not even too sure if its the right cfg

    Hello
    First off, thanks Thatfellow for a great share. I been playing with this for a month or so now, everything seemed to be fine, until my entitlments run out and didnt update.
    What I asking now is
    1, why did they not update? whats the most likely reason?
    2, short of putting card back into orignal reciever, how do I get entitilements updated now?
    3, one thing I notice in my setup is, I use newcamd for two rooms, works ok, but in another room I tried cccam, and its showing connecte, but won clear channels. Has this something to do with me not getting updates?
    I have read and read and keep going in circles.

    Thanks for any help in advance guys.

    If you knoww somebody in ireland ,north or south, would it be a good idea to hook up with them.
    Its £125 per year.

    In network local settings it will show your local ip of your box, type this into the web broswer of your pc, make sure your box is connected to router by the way, it will then open up a page where you can go to ccam etc and type in the details.
    You can do this via remote control directly in the box, but its quicker with the browser.
