got an old sky mini dish with old wistron quad LNB, had this problem for a while but thought "nice day take a look"

done a scan with 2 different boxes gets to around 60% scanned on to 12441 V with 672 channels found, then scans to full 100% no more channels found (just the 672 channels I had when it reached 60%)

been up the ladder the LNB is skewed to 3 on the settings (so that's in right place) signal on the channels I've got is ok, so could it be the high gain side of the LNB that's not working ?

will any of these "sky LNB's" on ebay fit ? or is it a special size with the wistron LNB?

few years ago would have been able to think this out myself, but got to an age were my brain just can't work sort out now, (used to say it was caused by Beef & aliminuian saucepans)

got myself a VU+uno se from WoS,

as I said like to have a good model for my main box, the rest i have are zgemma's which work ok

hi folks, the old VU+ solo2 feels like its coming to the end, I like the VU+ models they seem to last a long time

need to have a twin sat tuner (got 2 dishes ups) and IPTV,

only have a HD tv so will a 4k box work on my tv ?

got a few zgemma's that I use for iptv, but I like better quality model on main tv

its only for the football matches, which in fairness I can get on 13east, but it worked last season so should be ok this

its like a cut on your hand that nags at you that's how I feel about these channels don't need them but

there is a apple tree in the field full of apples don't think its in the way but, i'll wait till apples are ripe then get apples and cut back branches

I'm in a similar boat, got an original Vu+ solo2 but think the tuner feed voltage is starting to go, so need to look at new box

need a twin satellite + IPTV box, liked the VU+ so was thinking about another one but which one ? or is the zgemma h9s a good box ?

still no joy sorting this out,

changed the image on vu+ solo2 couple of times,

used a few different channel list

reset the TM-2600 motor

had Mrs watch tv and I turned the LNB, then flexed the dish

still not getting the V 4.8east channels,

thanks Alienato, that's a job for a weeks time at least, got a bathroom to gut & renew, then a car's rear brakes to clean

put in a new black ultra LNB,

did a scan of 4.8e picked up 433 channels all seem to be H (no V)

tried a few channels on FTA

DW Deutsch, News one, God channel, Russia today, work all on H

looks like i'm not picking up V on 4.8e, I have a tree close by will cut off a few branches in case that is the probelm

thanks, not sure what inside the LNB that could cause problem, but I'm going to change it

weather was ok when I tested, so that's not it,

as it runs though arc to get the other satlilles i'm hoping that the setup ok ?

I may take the dish back to zero using the vu+solo2

then push the reset button at the back of the motorised dish

in case I've done something to the uarl of 4.8 to get it into the right place

yes got up to date channel list

120cm dish, been using it for years no problem,

watched last seasons matches on 13 & 4.8 east no problem

can't get dish pass 5 west as it will hit roof

don't see how it could be LNB (as working on other satilites ) but ordered a new one just in case

hi folks, not had the motorised dish on for sometime but as its getting near the football season tried it the other day

I can get 0.8-19east ok, but I'm not getting anything on 4.8 east

checked the dial on the motor looks closer to 10 deg than 4.8, so on the VU+ adjusted the settings by fine movement button at 57% SNR

now scanned it picks up 23 channels when I try these 23 channels no picture or sound

as I say tried other satelites (used BBC world & God channel as FTA) 0.8, 13, 16, 19 all ok, but nothing on 4.8 east, so the arc of the dish must be right ?

anything I can try ?

not been able to pick anything on 4.8e for a long time I can get channels from other satelites but not 4.8e

I think I must have changed the usals position of 4.8e at sometime in the past when I've tired to fine tune the dish position,

when I check the dish motor indicator it appears to be pointing at 5 degrees, (but I'm old and should get my yes checked)

I've tried putting on god channel 4.8e then going to menu and tried to fine tune via the remote buttons be I can't pick up any signal

so is there a way to just reload the usals, or is it a case of reflashing the box

got a problem with my setup,
Vu+ solo2, motorised dish using openpli image
Tuner 1 = 28e
tuner 2 = motorised
on the motorised I can get 19e to 0.8 w all ok but when I select anything on 4.9e the dish does not move, so I guess I've not got the USALs for that satellite, I've put a new satellite xml into my bouquet (downloaded it this morning) still not moving to 4.9e
anyone got any suggestions please

SORTED, did a re-scan and found more channels

added my location to the satellite tuner, and downloaded EPG,
watch say sky sports news bring up the channels go down to BT sports 1, ok, stalls, button flashes in top left of screen, (as you look at it)
don't think its crashing , just stalling to change, same if on gold and try to change to something else
