Do you have unzip it ? Do you use a older USB with small space

I would reflash the recovery via usb . Instructions can be found by Gorski here in the forum for each box at Pur-E2 Area.

Then reload a current image of your choice and restore the settings that I hope you had saved them.

If the Image was to old it will be crashed with the Images after 05.2020 . You only can install a recovery Image in flash for new partitions

If i remember the right way put the unzip Image to the stick , switch Power off switch it on and push the standby button dirctly at start Moment .

Display show flashing and then stop pushing the button . Rest same like ever

This is a problem from HDMI CEC setting in Kodi you can change it in settings from Kodi

You are not the first with this question . Franc is very busy at the moment and so we all have to wait if it is possible .

There is a Pure2backup plugin on the feed under Extensions - maybe this helps.

I personally have never used it before. I save the Image Settings incl Plugins this can be done under Backup Settings and flash online new .

Time for this maybe 5 min for complete fresh Image with my settings and Plugins .

Normally a avaible Backup will shown after a Gui restart . You can also check for updates in P Manager point Software Update .

You can also store your settings in P Manager . If there are too many updates it is better to flash online a new Image and restore the settings .

Kodi 18 is the right one there you get @ the Moment 18,9 leia
