Display MoreDisplay MoreDisplay MoreThere is a strange problem regarding decoding of audio for channels. On few channels there is no audio on first option from the first list of audios avaiable. When I change audio to 2nd selection of audio list than there is the audio. But for channels which broadcasted with single audio source I am not able to receive any audio. Plz help to resolve this.
It's possible that the Audio related Defaults in your image are set to choose options that your set up cannot handle or handle correctly?
Though that wouldn't explain:
"for channels which broadcasted with single audio source I am not able to receive any audio"
Anyhow
Try making adjustments in "Auto language selection";
changes will be implemented globally.
The most direct way to get to these settings on my Zgemma with Wooshbuild/OpenATV_v6.1 is:
Press the AUDIO button on the RCU - a menu opens entitled "Select audio track"
Press the MENU button on the RCU - a menu opens entitled "Auto language selection"
[The longer way: Press MENU button, then choose: Setup > Audio > Auto language selection]

Initially try this:
Set Both "Prefer AC3 track" & "Prefer AC3+ track" to > NO <
Then press the GREEN button - to save changes.
This may restore audio to most channels?
Flick to a few channels and see.

I prefer to leave both set to > YES <
1.
Whatever happens, I would advise you to make this important change:
Look for "Prefer audio track stored by service"; & change it/set it to > YES <
That will ensure any audio track selection changes you make on individual channels in the future will be remembered (not lost on a reboot)
2.
I leave "Prefer AC3" set to YES [because AC3 (essentially Dolby Digital) Audio is preferable to MPEG, even if you don't have a surround-sound system]
> BBC & ITV @28E use it.
Some channels/providers implement it in a way that my STB cannot handle correctly;
SIS Live @4.8E for instance.
Initially I had no audio on SIS channels. To fix this, I chose to manually change them one-by-one to MPEG.
If I had set "Prefer AC3" to NO, I would have sound back on SIS chans, without having to make individual adjustments; BUT this would force ALL channels on the STB to use an MPEG Codec, ignoring the better quality AC3.
3.
I also set "Prefer AC3+ track"; to > YES < [AC3+ is essentially Dolby Digital Plus]
Some channels only offer either MPEG or AC3+ (i.e. no AC3)
I tired all this but nothing has been changed. I am using open blackhole 4.1 on duo2. The server config I shared earlier if I add AFN setting by adding these
"
[reader]
label = AFN
description = AFN-EMU
protocol = emu
device = Emulator
caid = 0E00
detect = cd
group = 1
emmcache = 1,5,31,1
emu_auproviders = 0E00:000000
auprovid = 000E00
cacheex = 1
cacheex_maxhop = 1
cacheex_allow_request = 1
services = afn"
I got the audio and AFN video but than there is no audio & video for MTN package. In oscam log file I see that it has picked the key for MTN and it has been decoded.
Than I done another experiment to the obove highlighed cacheex = 0 than AFN video will turn black & audio problem also starts but now I can watch MTN package. I am unable to uderstand what is happening. If some how cacheex work for both values 0 & 1 this problem could be resolved. I tried by putting the values as
cacheex = 0,1
or
cacheex = 1,0
it picks first value.
Now if you can help me. Thanks,

You are very close to having things fully working.
You need to create an "Oscan.services" file with specific content,
also to add another reader to the "Oscan.server" file
+ a couple of other changes to it.

No help from AFN'S switch to HD, I tried all the setting from it but no success
