Toppicks is now working! Copied over the new files and set them to 755 and it works!

Somthing that had me confused was the cronomanager, I found out by chance that I had to go into the Timers and then crono Timers and then I could proceed as per the instructions under the skyq skin page. I also had to edit my root file to this:

0 8 * * * /usr/script/skyscraper.sh

30 * * * * /usr/script/skypicker.sh

Otherwise the cron timer showed 0./* on the 'H' line. Not sure if this effected anything but the images are changing all the time now so all working great.

Thanks for the offer of setting it up for me but I’m not at home at the moment. I will however try again maybe this evening and will post back to let you know how I got on.

Yes, I am using those two files.

I seem to be going around in circles trying to get the top picks setup.

Running skyQ skin I have checked the two files are set to 755 as mentioned in the setup page and have downloaded the cronmanager plugin. However mine looks nothing like the one on the setup page. A picture of the one I have is attached.

Having never heard of cronmanager let alone use it, i ah e tried adding the skyscraper.sh location under the ‘add command to crontab with time’ butnget error message saying file does not exist. Also trained adding /use/scripts/skyqscrape.sh but get the same file not found error.

I think I am probably trying to set this up in completely the wrong way as I don’t know what I am doing with cronmanager.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I need to do please?

Try it and see.

If your box crashes or goes into a boot loop, just ftp into your box and delete the skin folder

/usr/share/enigma2/slyk-q-1080

Then it will load back up with default skin where you can select another skin again.

I think it does work?

Well I tried it and it works fine one openavt 6.2 and looks great!

With regards to the toppicks bit, are these just graphics or are they playable content? I haven't set it up yet so just asking.

New to this but really been enjoying playing around with the skyk1080 skin. So far I have made a few changes to the EPG and am quite pleased with myslef.

I am currently trying to change the movie planner to mod2 or mod3 but I can't locate either of the following files:

MovieList.py

MovieSelection.py

Following the instructions, these files need to be uploaded to my box but I can;t find them anywhere. Can anyone point me to where I can download these two files from please?

Hi,

My H7s crashed and got stuck in a loop so I re-flashed it with openavt 6.2 & woosh infinity. FTp'd jedi over and got eveything up & running.

However, the Service Searching menu entry is missing. Anyone know how I get this back?

Also, before my box crashed I had setup a yellow line that tracks across the EPG showing how much of the program was left. This has also gone and I can't find out how to add it back. Anyone know how I can turn this back on?
