the box has not had (by me) , or does not have any sd card attached, other than the one I tried to update with, does this still mean I need to do as you suggest?. Also what are the "ts streams"?. sorry to be so dense , but I know nothing about this box, except what you are teaching me. Does the front panel always read "good"

did what you advised anyway, the panel now shows the channel no when on dtv, and it appears to be ok
downloaded , ran adb, did a five and four, box is now back in usable state, I cannot thank you enough for your assistance. I had sold this box to someone and they returned in that unusable state, asked for a refund as faulty, broke the warranty seal, and denied opening it, so I am really pleased to have got it back to stock , Thanks once again
Just put usb system upgrade into operation it appeared to go about 50%, then the box rebooted, and the "unfortunately dtv has stopped" came up with behind it an initialization of dtv box, with spinning line, also the DTV icon has BOOT above it. Unless you keep pressing ok , it will not allow you to do anything, but continually returns to the pop up and needs another ok. Any solutions would be gratefully received, its driving me mad pressing ok. Thanks

Despite reading the other threads about resetting the Dtv on my mars using the ADB tool, it does not work for me, it gives the options, but appears to do nothing although option 4 does reboot the box. It continues to throw up a box saying DTV has stopped. Has anyone any ideas how to overcome this, bearing in mind that I have also read the usb resetting thread , and my box has only a power button on the front and a power switch at the back, so powering on whilst holding a button at the front just don't work, I have tried it. Frustration is here in excessive amounts. Help
The box when turned off by remote shows and remains to show the channel number that you last used, is that normal?. Turn it on with the remote and it says "good", and opens on the iptv side, go down to dtv, and it goes to a banner saying weak signal, turn the box off at the rear switch, then back on again and it works perfectly. Sorry to be a nuisance, but received the box with no manual, so am learning as I go along , with your assistance. The dish gives a signal (when working correctly) of 90+% signal with 85+% quality on all the channels I have checked.
For some reason when I turn the box (Mars) on it comes up with "weak signal", and the only way that seems to make it work properly is to turn it off with the main switch, and then back on again. Does anyone know what I have set wrong to cause the, it works perfectly if "reset"

Is it possible to timer record with this box, the satellite channels, if so can anyone tell me how to do it
