Edison os mini.
In my experience they have really good tuners in them, so a bit surprised that Vix's image has such a bad bug. Good job finding the answer thou mate.

i decided to go a step further this morning and flash the box with the original 5.0.023 image i have on usb pen and delete the 5.0.023 image i used from backup manager,lo and behold the 3 channels are now back clearing fine with no blockiness or pixelating at all.
So after all this it seems as if its something in the later images that are not allowing the 3 channels on 739.0 mhz to clear, but the old 5.0.023 image does, even the latest 5.0.029 image was not allowing the channels to clear.
Thought id post this up here just incase anyone knows what the issue is or its any help to sort other probs out as its clearly an image problem, well it certainly is for me anyway.
Which box are you using?
-
Hope this fixes my issue with the 3 HD channels on 739.0 mhz which are not clearing, its looking like it wont lock onto the frequency no matter what i try,im in sheffield and these are the only channles that wont clear for me,very frustrating when other people in sheffield are not having the same issues and the channels clear ok for them.
You need to adjust your signal levels
How do i go about doing this, strange thing is i haven`t changed anything on my setup so dont understand what has happened.
See my comment above.

Iv'e had to put a 28db amplifier in my loft for the boxes in bedroom's and had to fit attenuators on mates box to get channels working. It depends if your signal is too weak or too strong mate. Which channels are not working? You can find both cable amps on ebay and the cheapest place to find attenuators is the forum sponsers website.

I have changed frequency that ABM uses for tuning to 299000 as it was common between your lamedb and. Please update the provider/config file and run ABM again
If on OpenViX, you must be on 5.0 028 otherwise you will get the 2.8 version error.
If on OpenATV, it must be newer than 14th September
Brilliant, it works perfectly. Thanks Abu for sorting this out.

All the files are in /etc/enigma2/
lamedb
*.tv (everything ending in .tv)
*.radio (everything ending in .radio)
When transferring to another receiver, best to stop enigma2 with an "init 4" command using Putty or similar tools.
Thanks Abu i'll do it later when i get back from work.

I just tried to copy using Engimaedit and Dreamboxedit and both fail with an error, which files do need to copy using FTP?
-
Reading 00013 as is a friend of mine and both using the h5.2tc
Not sure but it's definitely an issue in this area, if you like i can send a working Bouquet list to you later when i get home as a temp fix.
-
Is it because the frequency the bouquets are transmitted on is not locking on?
Whats your NET id mate
-
Just ran Autobouqetsmaker on three boxes and now getting tuning failed fatal on all of them now, an edison os mini combo, Zgemma H5.2TC and H2 really don't understand what's going on as it was working yesterday on all the boxes except the H5.2TC before today.
update on Net ID 13 Reading it would appear that it's not just me having this problem a mate with Zgemma H2H is having the same issues
I am getting a lock on all but 6 frequencies with 643000 being one of them.
I can however watch all channels after doing an automatic tune. They are just mixed up with loads of other channels that don't normally get picked up by autobouquetmaker.
What Net Id are you on mate?
-
Post a screenshot of signal finder locking onto 643000 MHz on all tuners please.
Are you asking me to do this?
-
If one works and the other does not, there is going to be a signal issue. The tuners have different sensitivities. Check cabling, splitters etc.
Another simple check is to swap the receivers over.
I've swapped the boxes and in both rooms i get the tuning failed fatal error on the H5.2TC, as i mention in my first post when i first set it up Autobouqestsmaker worked then all of sudden it stopped working and gave the tuning failed fatal error. I'll keep plugging away at it

Someone else in Reading has posted similar problem.
Backup your lamedb to your PC. Found in /etc/enigma2/
Stop enigma2 with "init 4" command
Delete lamedb
Restart
Scan cable only
Restart
Attach this new lamedb and lamedb5 file here. It will be used to update the provider file with a different frequency.
Ok, sorry for being so late following your instructions please find attached my files. The scan found 596 Channels, I'm in Reading and my H2H is working but not the H5.2TC

I'm in Reading and my H2H is working but not the H5.2TC
Update it's stopped working to.
-
Will give that a look in the afternoon, thanks

I have a brand new Zgemma H5.2TC and i installed Openatv 6.0 and at first Autobouqestsmaker worked perfectly however it now fails with error: tuning failed fatal so to check that the box is working ie Tuner i did a manual scan and it picks up all the channels and i can't understand what's changed to cause this. I have another box the Zgemma H2 and that's working perfectly. I 've tried re flashing with 3 different images and still get the same result.

Great backup image works just as described mate, many thanks.
-
once you have installed backup suite installed via plugin feed, then from a telnet session type "bs-install.sh this works I can confirm that.
-
Worked perfectly for me, thanks guys.
