Hmm, not sure my son just did a update or something,. When I got home nothing was working, well a few channels but not much. but when I went to restart my oscam its a different one,I will check this out, maybe I didn't notice it at the bottom.

Someone took a update here on the satdreamgr and it wiped out my oscam emu, I went to reinstall it and it's not in the downloads anymore, how do I get it back? Thanks

I have satdreamgr 8. I am in North America, we use standard Linear ku over here. I do not have the Standard ku option. How do I get my ku working using this image? Thanks

Never got it going on the old tnap, I am using other images now, but I did do the update to 3.2 have not really played around with it much though. It's nice to use to watch 4:2:2 feeds though dreamdroid though, the other images all freeze and look up on 4:2:2.

Ok my buddy wont be by his dish for a while but he said openvix gets all messed up as well on those channels. Hmm I wonder what the guys that did TNAP mod changed to not cause these issues?

No have not tried another but my friend has openvix and he never mentioned the problem, I'll message him to confirm.

Oh wow if you guys can figure out a way to do semi live playback your image would be very popular in North America I know that for sure. I'm sure others around the world would be happy with it as well.

I have a modified image of satdreamgr 6, it's called tnap (the north american project) I can use this one on the feeds and it works fine. But the official satdreamgr 6 gives me problems so does 8.

Oh would any image be able to be setup with like a somewhat live viewing of 4:2:2 with something like vlc or something playing back a recording of the live stream with like a 5 second delay or something, would the receiver have enough processing power? That would be really neat, would make 4:2:2 feeds pretty much live and direct without a 4:2:2 capable receiver.

Oh and on satdreamgr 8, what do I have to change in the settings to make the time stay right, right now I think it's picking time off channels, I had the time okay with the older version but this one keeps getting messed up. Thanks

I was wrong, it stll locks up the receiver, was watching abc through dream driod and when I was done the receiver was very buggy and super slow, managed to restart it. Anyone from satdreamgr team have any input on this? Any fixes coming, I took the latest updated on version 8 but still the same problem.

I am using satdreamgr 8 now, works good but same problem, a small improvement where it does not make the receiver lag and I watched the ABC 4:2:2 feeds streaming to dreamdroid was working fine but then when I change the channel everything is blank just have audio. I have to restart to get the picture back again.

I am in North America, using the latest satdreamsgr with oscam works great! (not the new 8 in beta) I notice on these feeds from ABC:

If I tune any of these in it makes the receiver very buggy and slow, and also will make all channels blank (black screen no pic just audio). Only way to get out is to unplug/replug or I can manage to reboot but sometimes it's so slow and buggy I have no choice... It took me a while to figure out what the problem was, so I just deleted all these channels and of course the receiver is fine.



Funny thing is I can tune these in on a modified satdreamsgr image here in North America, and it does not lock up the receiver, so I can stream to my tablet and watch with vlc or mx player as the Edision cannot play these but I can send it to a player that can. (would be a nice feature to be able to load a plugin that would do a 5 second delay playback to watch 4:2:2 somewhat live, maybe it could record and play it back with 5 second delay through vlc or whatever, that would be really cool if it could be done, as no receivers can play these live and direct) Anyway any idea why this is happening, and any thoughts on if the new version 8 would have this issue as well? Was looking to try Pur E2, is there a mulitboot version? I have 3 other images installed, would like to add it.

Are there new keys for oscam for PV and biss for NA? If so will they be posted on this thread or somewhere else? Thanks

Can't seem to find a softcam key file, just specific update files that seem to have the key update for certain receivers "Gsky/ Hellobox" Most recent one I found is from Oct last year. I'll keep searching.

Ok he said everything is working fine, I have not tried another satellite yet will have to get around to that. He has some cheap receiver called coquit u2 or something like that. He said basically all pv is open and he has not had to do any updates since he purchased it about 3 months ago. So I guess it comes preset with a bunch of keys. Not sure, I will see if I get anything with the keys I used. If not then I guess I need to find some NA keys somewhere...

Ok cool, will try to get word from my friend and see whats working, I know he said most of the PV is working solid, he can hit from around 70 something to 135.

I was googling around and I see some older "global key files" not sure if anyone here is posting stuff like that but they seem to have the keys for many NA satellites.

Ok, I will ask a friend of mine he can't go down to 55 but I will see what channels are working for him and I will point there.

Oh, and once I get this up and running, I guess whoever is posting the good keys for my part of the world, I will have to reload the latest keys everytime they post them up right?

Oh and if I messed up my oscam by putting keys everywhere lol, would I just be able to delete it from the menu, and then re-download it again? I'll only do that if all else fails, not sure if I goofed anything up.

Aww so maybe I took the wrong keys. You know if anyone here is uploading keys for this part of the world? I know those cheap Chinese receivers my friends have open up most of the stuff around here, not sure what they come pre-loaded with I never picked one up. So not sure if they are keys for NA or if they are loaded with a bunch of keys that just work with autoroll for those providers globally? I don't think so but not sure.

I'm in NA, I can hit from about 40 something west to 135 or so west. Trying to get the most pv and biss can pickup.
