  • Amazon Prime Enigma2 Plugin by Murxer

    Amazon Prime Dream


    This plugin allows you to use Amazon Prime on a Dreambox One or just to browse, as this plugin works without access data.

    No other VOD plugin needs to be installed for this.

    The actual VOD plugin is already included in this plugin, so the access data is also entered in Amazon Prime Dream.

    In advance, you can also install and continue to use the actual VOD plugin and the GP4 GUI Amazon Prime plugin.

    Amazon Prime Dream also uses its own Amazon cookie, so all plugins can run in parallel.


    Home with mixed entries and then only with prime entries



    Here you have the option in this plugin to only show the Prime entries, this then affects the whole plugin.

    You can select this in the menu bar on the top right.

    If the prime is highlighted in gray, the prime filter is deactivated, as soon as you have selected the prime filter, the prime is highlighted in blue.

    A small Prime Icon is also shown in the cover if it is Prime content.

    The search for a series film starts automatically as soon as you have made an entry or you have edited the entry.

    I created this plugin without its own season screen, all available seasons are always displayed the same.

    So you can always quickly choose another season.

    As soon as you press the right arrow key for the last episode, the next season is automatically selected.


    You reach the genre screen if you press the left arrow key when you first enter a list.


    This also adjusts when you have selected the prime filter.


    There are different covers in the plugin, series have a landscape cover and films have a portrait cover, so you can see

    in the case of mixed entries no matter what it is.


    The plug-in is only controlled with the arrow keys and OK / Menu and Exit key.

    The exit button has several functions:

    - If you have not selected the first entry in a list, you can return to the first entry with the Exit button.

    - If you press the Exit button again, the menu bar opens.

    - When you press the Exit button again, the plugin is ended.


    The colored buttons only have a function when entering the password and mail.


    I did not revise the chapter entry, like the security question, here the one from the VOD plugin is used.

    Had to do both variations myself, there were no problems here.

    Although the SMS function did not work for me, but the mail function worked.


    Note login:

    No access data is saved, you must always enter the access data in the settings if you exchange the access data or you use the logout function.

    You can always correct the entered login data as long as you stay in the settings.

    Your input will be shown on the right of the screen, so you can always check this before you press log in.

    If you enter the password or your email incorrectly, an error message will appear when you try to log in.

    Then you can correct this and press Login again.

    Installation:

    There are no more deb files to install the plugin, the plugin is now only installed via the console, is also online updatable when a new version is due.

    After installation via the wget installer, the plugin can also be updated and can then also be updated via the software update.


    As you can see in the pictures, the original app served as a sample.

    So far, this plugin has only been tested in a small group, so problems can still arise

    to play Netflix and Amazon content directly at Enigma y need a Dreambox One, or the comming Dreambox Two or Seven

    because only that products support widevine as native Netflix and Amazon plugin


    as i know there or not a nother Enigma Box that can handel widevine directly in enigma!

    that is the reason why at the moment only Dreamnbox One works with Netflix, Amazon and DAZN without stopping Enigma


    the other enigma box use Kodi, but if y start Kodi y stop enigma! if y stop enigma to use that plugins not need to buy a Enigma Box because Kodi is working at FireTV for 30 euro


    At the moment only DreamOS 2.6 married with widevine

    the main point of the plugin is that it search in all provider a film or a serie, and give y the option to select one provider that y want, if y click than at the provider the app or the page from the provider open!




    same as like the Justwatch plugin from murxer!!!

    if y dont have a Dreambox One y can use it only for entriey in the watchlist! because NON Dreambox One doesnt support Netflix, and Amazon as native plugin!

    Dreambox One support the both Plugins directly without start Kodi or start the provider in the browser!

    i heart the next step will be Disney+ plugin for Dreambox One and other native plugins will come step by step!

    Amazon settings:

    If you have an Amazon Prime Account, you can add and delete the watchlist here.


    Netflix settings:

    If you have a Netflix account, you can add and delete the watchlist here.


    The account access data for Amazon and Netflix are only required for login, your access data are not saved on the box.



    The login is identical for both providers.

    To do this, proceed as follows:

    - Change email address for account

    -Change Password

    - Select login

    Now wait until a message or further security questions appear.

    If the login fails, check your entries again, they will always be shown on the right side.


    A cookie is then created for each provider, so that the access data does not have to be saved. The cookies are stored in "/ etc / enigma2 / justWatch".


    The film info screen is divided into 2 parts, you can scroll with the up and down arrow keys.

    You can also recognize it by the small arrow icon at the bottom right.

    In the first part of the screen (picture 1) you have the possibility to change the backdrops with the left and right arrow keys.

    The second part, here is the overview of the individual providers, you can also select the individual providers.

    The trailer can be played, but does not have to mean that all trailers are available.


    If you have now entered login data for Netflix or Amazon, and you select the provider, the following window appears:


    Querying which profiles you have created at Netflix can take some time.

    Now you can add or delete the film in your desired profile.

    In the picture there is also Netflix Dream / Amazon Dream in the list, this function is only available on one.

    For this, however, the current Netflix Dream / Amazon Dream must be installed, then you can play this film about Netflix Dream / Amazon Dream right away.


    Series info screen:

    The series info screen is divided into 3 parts, you can scroll with the up and down arrow keys.

    You can also recognize it by the small arrow icon at the bottom right.

    As with the film info screen, you can select the provider in picture 2, has the same functions.

    This is now also possible on an Enigma2 box.

    This plugin is very similar to the browser version, and all data is obtained from the JustWatch API.


    If there are more than 1000 titles available, you can only watch the first 1000.

    You can then adjust the search using the filter, then the titles found will also be fewer.

    With +/- program buttons you can jump 18 entries when you are in the cover list.

    If you are in the cover list you can always return to the filter with the Exit button.


    The filter:

    Here you have the possibility to adapt the search to find your desired title.

    The reset function affects the year, genres, FSK and the search text.


    The search text input also works with the keyboard thx @pclin

    The search starts automatically as soon as you have entered at least 2 letters / characters.

    Please be patient, as long as the spinner is running, the query has not been completed.

    However, if the spinner does not end, adjust the input again until the spinner ends again.

    The input is checked every 4 seconds, as long as you have to wait until the search starts again.


    You can access the settings using the menu button:


    Here you can set your country if you have a foreign account with the streaming provider. The filter then adapts to the land.

    Germany is set as the standard.



    Provider settings:

    Streaming providers can be reached via the menu or if you select the provider list with OK. Now you can select or deselect the individual providers.

    Here's another tip:

    If you deselect all providers and then press Exit, all providers are automatically selected.


    Cache settings:

    Here you have the option to clear the cache or cover when you close the plugin.

    In this menu you can also empty the cache, the free memory of the selected folder is also displayed.

    To use a different folder for the cache, you must first select the cache directory with OK. Now the display expands with an order list.


    To select a folder you have to use the long button press for the OK button.

    A question then appears with "Create cache folder in / media / hdd /?" This adapts depending on what you have selected for a folder.

    Known bugs and installation issues:

    Unfortunately the plugin does not run on VTI, there are problems with python-twisted -> reactor, threads.

    I suspect that the problem lies with VTI, since all versions use the same code.

    The python-runpy dependency is also missing, so the installation also fails.


    Another bug is in the JustWatch API:

    - Series cannot be filtered according to the age rating, as soon as you select an FSK, all series are automatically filtered out.

    This error also exists on the JustWatch homepage
