    Hi guys


    My DM500 HD has started acting silly. It now wont boot. It keeps booting to ip screen. Ive checked to see if the button is stuck but it isn't. Not sure what to do next. Ive tried flashing a few images via optiflasher but keeps doing the same.


    I hope i have explained this well. The DM500 HD has no screen so to get a ip address to flash via web browser before flashing you have to hold the power button then switch the power on, the box boots to a black screen with green writing which gives you the ip the box is using. My box now keeps booting to this screen. It was fine last night, put in standy and woke up this morning to this problem.


    Id really appreciate some help please guys as I thought flashing the box would solve this. I am flashing the box with a ssl87 image as that's the bootloader the box has.

  • how to configure oscam to use as mgcamd client

    Hi Guys.


    Im sorry if this has been asked 100s of times but I cant seem to find the answer. I have a vu solo2 running the latest vix but mgcamd seems to be acting up. Personally i prefer oscam but the lines i use are n-line in CWS format.


    My question is can I use a line like this -----> CWS = thisismyserver 15221 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in Oscam to make the channels clear. If I can then how can I do this and also add CWS_MULTIPLE = thisismyserver 15221 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 in Oscam IF NEEDED. Thanks in advance.

    To up date blackhole images do i have to reflash every time or is there a update feature built in the image. Im running my solo 2 with bh 1.7.9 december 20th build.

    if they are can somebody pass me the file skin_display96.xml in /usr/share/enigma2 so i can get my picons working in vix image.

  • motor losing sats

    Guys, what a head fuck


    im in worcestershire at the moment and im looking for some advice. I have a vu duo, 1m motorised dish etc etc for 2 years with nps but recently im struggling to pick up sats. I use catseye settings but can only now get 9,13,19, and 28. All others dont seem to want to lock in via usal. Any ideas whats the prob guys please. snr is low also on the sats i can recieve

    Hi guys


    worked like a charm for me, i had internet issues alos so i edited resolv.conf to nameserver 8.8.8.8, then i went to network manager and added this in there, worked a treat.


    Can somebody tell me pleases, do this script have a restart function in the middle of the night or is it someat i have to do myself, and if it doesnt have a restart oscam, cccam script can somebody guide a noob how to write 1 please.
