  • gone again, can omi keys overheat?

    for a week i have no problems at all


    today oscam just stopped, like i reported last week ( still not had any help )


    rebooted pc, came back as OFF
    10 reboots later and still off


    the green light on 1 out of the 2 omikeys was flashing a red more then green


    after 45 mins, i got the card to work again..... whats causing it? also my oscam.config, server, user, service files went all 0 bytes as in a emply file


    for some reason tonight as well my normal times of 90-120ms are now like others 270-350ms

    was chatted to some mates about moving and someone said they moved to ireland and love the channel but been down for a hr from a share over there
    a mate of mine shares, so i asked him if any info, he told me was ok, so said to my other mate must be the guy u pay.


    now another mate tells me he ordered it, was ok for 3 days and his *** box updated and now has a box id box under settings and cant watch no *** channel apart from fta
    so thinks his card is playing up as he cant share now to anyone
    just wanted to know if was the channel or new things happening

    i myself dont watch it or have a need for it

  • oscam stops it self and does restart

    since friday i have had gremins in my server


    i have 3 ominkeys, sly uk sly it and freextv


    it started on friday around 5-6 pm just stopped, gone to webif and all 3 readers said unknown, killed oscam, resarted and all came back as OFF
    removed the freextv card and the others came on ok


    happened again sunday and ftped and saw as posted 3 files had go from having info, to nothing
    today 2pm was all running ok. 4.55pm was watching tv, channel froze, went back to oscam webif, all said off
    in the log just showed from 4.55pm so cant see if was a refresh ect.


    this time just went to putty, killed restarted and channels all ok


    whats causing it? i dont have nothing in crontab at all.
    i did have a feeling i was hacked as was strange as a mate wanted to try it out for his workshop and is a bit of a player/computer hacker.


    i can post configs ect, just peeing me off

  • something making my oscam files 0 bytes

    last night about this time my server went off


    when i ftp i see the oscam config user and server all gone to 0?


    i have to upload a back to get the server working again


    any help? how do i check cron jobs?


    or has someone uploaded a file, still here and cant get it back online
