    Sorted this in the end:

    opkg install ffmpeg exteplayer3 enigma2-plugin-extensions-serviceapp reboot

    Then updated my bouquet:

    #SERVICE 4097::0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0: ******* ----> #SERVICE 5002::0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:

    5002 corresponding to the number for exteplayer3 in serviceapp

    Hi guys, I'm having some audio issues with my IPTV. Some streams maybe 10% of them have a problem with audio stuttering, the video continues fine while the audio stops. I've checked these streams out in VLC and they're playing fine. I installed the IPTV Player ipk above. Any other ideas for how to sort this?

    I didn't get it to work but these steps did.. not mine but easy to follow and maybe useful to someone:

    OSCam with PC/CS card reader support

    If you like to setup a Linux Server and using OSCam with a local card, you need a card reader.

    Here is a simple tutorial on how to get a card reader up and running.

    This tutorial will work for most reader out there:
    Omnikey
    Keyboard with card reader
    Integrated reader in a portable computer

    This should work on Ubuntu 12.x and up (and other Linux distro)

    Install needed software
    apt-get install subversion make gcc pcscd pcsc-tools libpcsclite-dev
    subversion -> file/documents controll system, compiling
    make -> compiling tools
    gcc -> compiling tools controlling process
    pcscd -> PC/SC Smart Card Daemon
    pcsc-tools -> Adds pcsc_scan, a too for scanning PC/SC Smart Card
    libpcsclite-dev -> Middleware to access a smart card using PC/SC - files need for compiling and linking app to reader

    You can update the card list for the PC/SC software (optional)
    wget http://ludovic.rousseau.free.f…-tools/smartcard_list.txt --output-document=/root/.smartcard_list.txt

    Test if cardreader is found and working
    Run:
    pcsc_scan
    Insert and remove card, and you should see some like this:
    0: HP USB Smart Card Keyboard [CCID Interface] (0819ffc3) 00 00

    Wed Apr 9 08:34:44 2014
    Reader 0: HP USB Smart Card Keyboard [CCID Interface] (0819ffc3) 00 00
    Card state: Card inserted,
    ATR: 3C 24 00 20 4A 10 20

    ATR: 3C 24 00 20 4A 10 20
    + TS = 3B --> Direct Convention
    + T0 = 24, Y(1): 0010, K: 4 (historical bytes)
    TB(1) = 00 --> VPP is not electrically connected
    + Historical bytes: 30 42 30 30
    Category indicator byte: 30 (proprietary format)

    Possibly identified card (using /usr/share/pcsc/smartcard_list.txt):
    3C 24 00 20 4A 10 20
    ComHem Digital-TV smartcard (Sweden)
    TNK Telewizja Na Karte (Poland) - Conditional access system : Conax (Sweeden)

    Wed Apr 9 08:34:57 2014
    Reader 0: HP USB Smart Card Keyboard [CCID Interface] (0819ffc3) 00 00
    Card state: Card removed,
    Press CTRL-C to exit.
    The 0: and Reader 0, tells you that this is reader 0 in OScam

    Get and install OSCam (will download latest build)
    cd /tmp
    svn checkout http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn
    cd oscam-svn

    Compile OSCam with PC/SC support
    make USE_PCSC=1

    All this lines should bee included to tell you that PC/CS support is added
    | CFLAGS = -DWITH_PCSC=1 -I/usr/include/PCSC
    | LDFLAGS = -Wl,--gc-sections -DWITH_PCSC=1 -I/usr/include/PCSC
    | LIBS = -lpcsclite -lpthread -ldl -lrt
    | UseFlags = USE_PCSC=1
    | Binary : Distribution/oscam-1.20-unstable_svn9646-x86_64-linux-gnu-pcsc
    CC csctapi/ifd_pcsc.c
    LINK Distribution/oscam-1.20-unstable_svn9646-x86_64-linux-gnu-pcsc.debug
    STRIP Distribution/oscam-1.20-unstable_svn9646-x86_64-linux-gnu-pcsc

    Copy it to bin directory (replace 9668 with your downloaded version)
    cd Distribution
    mkdir /var/bin
    cp oscam-1.20-unstable_svn9668-i686-linux-gnu /var/bin/oscam9668

    Start OSCam
    /var/bin/oscam9668 -b

    Find Web port (normal 8888)
    netstat -topan | grep oscam

    Launch webif OSCam
    http://ip:8888

    Add reader
    Reader -> Add Reader
    # Give a propper name
    Enable: X
    Device: 0 #Use device name found by pcsc_scan, remember to reboot after adding new device
    Group: 1
    Emmcache: 1,3,2

    To see new reader if OScam is 9668 or newer, do
    Readers -> Reload Readers
    for older version
    Reload OScam

    I have the same problem, my Alien stuck on boot and do not want to connect with putty, have you fixed the tuner? or sent to the service and they do it?

    Yes I had my receiver swapped, the bootloader on my box had been corrupted - it only displayed the time and nothing else.
    If yours actually says boot then it's most likely retrievable, are you using the correct cable?

    Having installed the AMIKO_ALIEN2_1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade and installed an enigma 2 image.

    Have I only installed the 1.2.51 version purely to upgrade the bootloader and now i can do what i want?

    Basically can I upgrade spark to the latest 1.2.61 version or do I have to stick with the 1.2.51?

    yeah buddy that's the cable rs232 null-modem
    that post you showed me in the video the box says boot on the screen but mine does not say anything, just shows the time.
    is it possible the box is just bricked and cannot be repaired by serial?

    yeah com port is com4 in device manager so set it to that, doesn't seem to want to talk

    do i need to hold any buttons when powering on?

    I tried ok button but makes no difference

    Flashed my Alien 2 with E2 firmware and now it doesn't boot at all.

    When I power it on it only displays the time and no menu appears when holding the okay button.

    Only thing that seems to do anything is when I hold menu I can mess around with the display.

    I have a serial cable is it possible to flash the bootloader back across?

    Cheers

    Thanks for the reply buddy.
    Can you please explain a bit further. I am no linux guru. I just read and read tutorials and try by trial and error.
    Which cam checkscripts are you referring to? Would appreciate your help.

    i'm having the same problem.. did that solution work?

    Hey I have a Ubuntu x86 server for whatever CCcam seems to crash regularly

    I am running CCcam 2.1.3 & Oscam stable V1.10 (although I have tried other versions)

    The cccam logs just before they crash reveal a similar problem most likely with oscam comms
