Next I have to study the JazUp flashing procedure because I've understood
that it is the only way to do the job. 
I hope the Premium hd + hardware is good enough to run the E2.

There are a few older update instructions on this thread. Newer do exist but before starting the process I’d like to ask the members a couple of things.
Has anyone tried to flash according to these instructions (version 7.0)? Would be interesting to know whether they really work…

Which one of those you recommend and why? Are there any major differences between them? I believe that either of them would be a good start.
There are several providers (openesi, openvix, openatv, openhdf, pure2, etc.) for Enigma2. What do you say, is openesi a good and stable one that also can be equipped with useful plugins?
Do you think Azbox hardware has enough power to run Enigma2? No one likes a sluggish operating system but I really like to try the old hardware if it still is usable before buying a new box.
Once Enigma2 (e.g. openesi) is in the box, is it possible to further update it to a version from another provider by using a standard USB (FAT32) stick procedure (without JazUp2)?
