    Hi Zenpool
    I have already tested Coreelec with Tvheadend on a SD-Card on the Mecool KIII PRO, and it works very well.

    All satellite and terrestrial channels are found, and scrambled channels are decrypted well.


    I'm thinking the problem is the Mecool firmware. Hope a new firmware is released that fixes these issues.

    At this moment I have installed the firmware KIII_PRO_AVL6862-NHG47L-20190301, and the encrypted channels of DVB-S and DVB-T are correctly decrypted.

    The problem is that the tuner is a bit "deaf".

    The transponder scan intercepts fewer channels than a satellite decoder (eg: dreambox 800). I don't know why. Maybe it's a hardware problem with the TUNER or a software problem with the DTV application.

    Thank you Zenpool for your support.


    I tried to install th.DTV APP, but the error is still the same.


    First of all I uninstalled the th.dtv system app with System App Uninstaller tool.

    Then, I installed the APK th.dtv (ver. 20190301), but the error DTV has stopped working appears.


    So I did the factory reset. Then I installed th.DTV (ver. 20190301), but the error DTV stopped working pops up again.


    How do I uninstall the th.DTV system app?

    but I have a MECOOL KIII PRO, and for now , no new Firmware released .
    Last ( wrong ) Firmware is 20191204.

    I need to remove the system app DTV, then install the new DTV APK file.

    Please, could you tell me with which tool you used to delete the DTV application?

    The DTV application is a system application, and cannot be uninstalled.

    this way don't work ...
    1) put the APK file in USB KEY.

    2) from file manager, install the APK file.

    3) the installation process ask if you want install only NEW FILES or ALL FILE (default is NEW) (test NEW and ALL)

    4) install the application

    5) the install process finish succesfull, but a error message popo-up : ERROR - The App DTV, was closed in error. Restar application.

    If you chose RESTART, the error goes in loop

    Restart the Android-Box .... same problem .
    How do you have succesfull install this APK file in your MECOOL K7 Box?
